Really really good! Nice chap taking orders behind the till and the food is ace. Opening times have changed!

Maybe the most disappointing fish and chips I've ever had in my life. Stingy portion of the furthest thing from chip shop chips I've ever tasted; dry, flavourless oven chips, not remotely greasy or soggy in any way shape or form.The fish was OK, but about half the size of what I get at my local chip shop, not as well cooked and more expensive.The mushy peas were the most unappetising shade of grey that I've ever seen any form of food come in, they looked how I imagine mushy peas would look if they were found l 500 years from now in a war bunker. Curry sauce was just about the only thing I got that resembled something bought from a chippy.

Fabulous fresh fish and chips. Cod was full of flavour and just perfect. Would certainly recommend when in St Agnes.

Really excellent fish and chips. We have been back to Fission time and time again over the past four or five years. Fish is always cooked fresh and with just a thin crispy coating of batter. Chips are thick cut and tasty. Better be quick for the scampi! Would definitely recommend.

Currently a limited menu but really delicious. We had cod and chips, chicken bites (nuggets) and chips plus a curry sauce. All amazing. Beautifully battered cod, very fresh. Curry sauce was also top notch. Get in early!

Hate leaving negative reviews, would rather give credit where it's due.But I think you cannot expect a business to improve without any feedback.The service I received wasn't very friendly, no common courtesy (hello, thank your, please etc). Felt the gentleman serving was annoyed with me as he was told by one of his colleagues to serve me (as he was chatting, and paying no attention to me waiting). I was informed that what I wanted to order was sold out, to then hear the next customer ask for the same and then served the 'sold out' meal.I was also refused a bag to carry home the 6 boxes of food as I did not have 10p (paid for food with card).Bit disappointed by that experience as a paying customer, and having to ask a shop down the road for a bag to not struggle home with the chips.Food was ok.

The best fish & chips, which I had in UK. Excellent customer service, people were very polite and friendly. Fish and chips were excellent prepared and cooked, all was fresh and tasted delicious. The portion was really big, what really surprised me, after reading some reviews regarding small portions.The price for fish and chips was £8.50, which I think it is reasonable and definitely worth the money.Well done guys, you are doing great job over there.There are quiet few people working over there and from my short observation, it looks like there is a friendly atmosphere, where people put their hearts to prepare meals for visitors.The only disadvantage is a lack of parking space, but not only for Fish & Chips shop,but as well for many local businesses around.Shame for St. Agnes council, they should crete some more temporary parking spaces, which will attract more visitors to go there and help local businesses.

Lovely fish, chips were a little uninspired. Wait was fine and there's good spots to park your car for a few minutes while you wait for your food. Not much else in the immediate area.

Very good fish and chips! We took it to Chapel Porth nearby. Delicious.
