We were quickly greeted at the door and promptly seated by a friendly server. Our meals were top notch, the atmosphere was simple and in keeping with the heritage of the building. Salad was a bit thin on ingredients but satisfying. The chicken avocado bacon sandwich hit the spot. No alcohol and no dessert, the meal for 2 cost 26 pounds. I would recommend this place.

A wonderful breakfast with the best locally sourced ingredients.A must go place for an enjoyable taste of excellent food.We had a Cornish Breakfast with the delicious bacon & a Duck egg Florentine with spinach and mushrooms . A talented professional chef and all at the price you would pay for the ordinary. Can’t wait to go back to try the evening meal. Best wine list I have seen for many years.

This place is nice and fancy. We ordered 3 chicken roasts at a cost of £16 each. The food was very nice, the vegetables were seasoned to perfection and the gravy was nice. Could of done with more meat though. Because our chickens were just pretty much legs. Having the front door constantly open made it chilly for us as well. I eat my meal with my coat on.

Very nice food, charming atmosphere for dinner. Friendly service, all round excellent. They were happy, if called upon, to cook dishes not on the menu for children. Price range around £20 or a little over for most of the very well cooked an nicely presented main courses. I would happily recommend this restaurant. Try to book if in high season.

I booked in for a meal as a treat to myself and wasn’t disappointed. Delicious food and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating for my gluten free needs also.

After having been sorely let down by a restaurant in Polzeath on Mothering Sunday, we held little hope of finding a decent place for our group to eat. However Flory and its staff could not have been more accommodating. We were happy to eat outside given the last minute booking but in fact were shown to one of their private dining rooms when the weather became chilly. The meal was superb and every one of their staff was extremely polite and professional. Thank you very much indeed for looking after us all so well and for a wonderful Sunday lunch.

This is my favourite place to go for a Sunday lunch. The food is always fresh and their chef is outstanding. I like how they make small changes to the vegetables and gravy which keeps things interesting and seasonal. I recommend the lamb knuckle if they have it. Great table service, nice decor in the upstairs restaurant. I’ve had a lot of Sunday dinners in Cornwall, but Florys is the best by far. They also have a cafe downstairs with some tasty looking cakes.

A delicious meal. I had the rump steak with lovely vegetables A medley of flavours and the steak was so tender. My partner had the pork Wellington and pork belly with black pudding, Spanish potatoes and veg. All beautifully cooked, presented and served. Love the intimate rooms and decor. Looking forward to visiting again.

We stopped in unexpectedly at the end of a Sunday lunch service while on holiday in the area. In late January most of the towns we visited, including Bodmin, were very, very quiet but even with deserted streets Flory's was busy and it looked as though we just caught the last table which speaks volumes in itself! The food was excellent, the service was fantastic and we were made to feel very welcome despite turning up from the cycle path and not really dressed for the restaurant! I would happily come back again next time I am in the area.
