Golden Temple in Cornwall

Good sized portions. Bit of a wait, but well worth it. Only open on Fridays. Can take own booze. Lovely.

Had the best meal and the service was great. Will go again as soon as i can. Five stars.

Had great meal at golden temple mushroom rice, chicken vindaloo,aloogobi, and onion bhaji all 😋. Decor dated but full of charm!! Ps only open weekends.

Unbelievable that this should be as overlooked as it is. Mr Barri makes it clear that service will not be 5 star and yet that's the charm of the place. We felt at ease enough to open our own drinks and not wait to be waited on. The quality of the food more than makes up for any other shortcomings. The portions are generous too, we filled doggy bags with what we hadn't stuffed ourselves with and had a whole other meal out of it. Overall a very authentic Nepalese experience!

Well I am not sure how to rate this as the food was really tasty. However it appears to be run by one chef & a waiter. It will probably be one of my more memorable eating experiences as it resembled Fawltey Towers in some manners.We arrived & they sent us to the local pub for 30mins as our table booking wasn't ready but mid order at the pub we were asked to rush back. The waiter was a really nice guy but appeared to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. They had a help yourself honesty bar - more because they couldn't staff it & we scored the last bottle of red wine.Our 8:30 booking ended with our food arriving after 10pm but it was delicious. Really it was a bit of a hilarious experience. If you are in Bodnim & fancy a curry and have a good sense of humour & plenty of patience, then this might just be for you.

We travelled from Weston super Mare to Bodmin to stay overnight.We have tasted Mr Barry's Cuisine before and were not disappointed in the slightest.. Mrs Barry was the head cook for the evening and the flavours were Devine. The best food to date we have ever tasted!If anyone wants to taste traditional curry then this is the place to try.Jo and Lyndsay from Weston Super Mare

Tasteless bland food. Service OK, but the nan bread takes on the appearance of a Frisbee. If you eat here and are off to the beach the next day order one and have fun throwing it to each other. I've been to India, but I doubt anyone in this place has, or if they have it has been a while. AVOID...........
