Habaneros Burrito Bar in Cornwall

Just seen the review below about vegan / veggie option as I’ve come to say the same thing! Sadly really wet, oily and not satisfying. Staff were super friendly / cool place but agree the veggie option needs changing.

Don’t know about the meat options but vegan/vegetarian options are pretty rubbish and feel like bad value for money. Peppers and onions is not a filling - that’s what goes with your filling. And then have to pay for vegan cheese. Tacos were very wet, I would serve the filling separate from the tacos if it’s so wet. I would suggest adding refried beans or a meat alternative.

The food here is amazing! Very reasonable prices in my opinion, especially with the amount you get. Everything made fresh to order

Had some vegetable nachos for £6, not a professional service. Heavy rock metal playing in the kitchen, some dude half welcomed me. Nachos were ok nothing special.

Great burritos whole family had a different one and everyone loved them. Loads of filling with great rice n beans. Great alternative to a pastie

Had a brisket burrito delivered by Deliveroo. Delivery was good. Food was awful.The tortilla was cold and showed no signs of being heated. Inside the cheese was as if it came straight out of the refrigerator. The rice was cold. The beef was cold and chewy and there was no sign of any sauce.Quite the most disgusting Burrito I have ever tried. The two thirds that I have left has been fed to the gulls, but even they don't seem that keen.Definitely best avoided.

First went back in 2019 whilst on hols in Falmouth impressed then, fast forward to early August 2021 went again and just as good no problems fajitas and burrito very nice packed with shredded chicken wanted pulled pork but apparently they had run out on the day we ordered. Will visit again next time we holiday in Falmouth.

Very average burritos. Ordered pork, with cheese, guacamole, fresh salsa and mango sauce. Guacamole and salsa non-existent and burrito hugely lacking in flavour. Plenty of meat in it though, and service ok. Place seems to be now living on its previous reputation.

We were really excited to try Habanero's after seeing positive reviews on Google. We ordered a shredded chicken burrito and a pulled pork burrito bowl with extras (e.g. cheese, salsa, peppers and onions, etc). When we got home with our order, there was no salsa or peppers and onions despite paying extra for them and there was maybe a teaspoon of black beans in each. The food was very plain with not much taste - basically just meat and rice. I think the food would have been nice if they had actually made our order properly - so just check it is correct before you leave.

We are well experienced Mexican food and surely burrito hunters.They gave us all small left crumbles of tortilla chips with poor guacamole.Burrito is maybe 3 out 5, so didn’t understand why other reviews here rated too highly.We also asked for spicy sauce (one was with Habanero) which was most likely not added.As conclusion it’s nothing more than average, overpriced and could disappoint you as well.
