Fish chips and gravy cooked to perfection, eaten overlooking the beach. What more could you want.

Had two large pieces of cod with chips. Price was at a price point where you got good value for money. Portion size was good and filled us up. If I was to give a downside it would be the chips after cooling down a bit had a oilily after taste but still nice.

Excellent fish and chips, they always say you cannot get better fish and chips than by the sea and this is so true. Woo woo woo!!!!

Fish is excellent which it should be, with the shop been next to the sea. However overall I felt a little disappointed. The sausage is probably best one I've ever had, not greasy and really meaty. The major thing that let's it down is the chips. Over cooked and not very flavoursome. Did have extra salt and vinegar but it seemed very sporadic if you had really good flavouerd chips or no flavoured chips

Ours was the last order before closing but they were delicious. Batter crispy fish flavoursome and chips cooked perfectly. Will we go again? Definitely.

Ordered large cod and chips with mushy peas and they were lovely. Cooked to order and we were asked if we'd like salt and vinegar which they put on. We were given 2 forks as we were sharing. Found a bench beside the car park across the road above the bowling green. Delicious 😋

Vegan friendly (more than not using beef dripping but also sausages and other foods). Amazing chips. Succulent fish. Lovely staff. We’ve had lots of different fish and chips in Newquay and this is the best.

Lovely fish and chips. The children were happy. Chips were fresh! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the centre. Friendly staff. Thank you.

Almost the best fish and chip I had in UK. Would recommend them for their quick service and tasty fish a chips.

A very enjoyable take away meal and good value too.We went here on a Friday evening in October and it was quiet. We ordered two cod and chips to take away, and these were fresh cooked and ready in just over ten minutes. The lady who took our order and payment was very friendly and pleasant. We paid by card, which they accept if the cost is over £5. As of the end of October 2018, contactless payment is now available. The food was still hot when we got back to our camp site. We'd each be given a tartar sauce pouch included in the price. The fish, batter and chips were great. Only rarely have we had better fish and chips, and for what we paid it was excellent value. We did a second visit during our stay. Same good quality food. As it was a Saturday it took a little longer, but worth the wait. The fact this restaurant uses vegetable oil makes a lot of difference to the flavour too. Much more preferable to the beef flavour others have locally. The eat in restaurant was closed on our visit. It seats around 24 people in total and the shop and restaurant are step free.
