It's great to go to a restaurant these days where you can read the menu printed in contrasting colours and speak to one another. Informal enough that you can chat to fellow diners. Formal enough to be special. Classic French British cooking. Really was beautifully executed. Good selection of half bottles. Great service. Feels a tiny bit old fashioned but what a find and I will be back! Thank you for your care.

The lady owner was rude when it came to counting my money. The food is ok but not fantastic. Very expensive. Michelin recommended...pfft, not recommended by a real customer.

Absolutely out of this world food! So glad we booked this restaurant in advance. The decor was lovely, warm and inviting. The service was friendly and with a smile, and the food was delicious. The monkfish risotto was really special and worth trying. My husband has the goats cheese starter and steak as a main and loved both of them.Desserts were also great, with the chocolate torte being utterly scrumptious. I could have had another one, it was that good.They allowed us to bring our dog, which was very kind of them.The thyme sorbet as a palette cleanser was a lovely added touch.Just a great restaurant!

Small, cosy restaurant tucked out the way in the centre of Penzance. The menus are good, the dishes well constructed and cooked - really liked the Thyme sorbet, grilled scallops, grilled John Dory and so on. Pretty good wine list if you wish to explore options, including Rivesaltes on the dessert wine list.

A really special meal. The fish was prepared and presented with real skill. Flavours and portions expertly balanced across three courses. Expansive wine list, we had a beautiful Lebanese wine. Leave room for the iced lemon souffle in chocolate with raspberries! Good value for the quality.

A wonderful and special restaurant! The service is consistently brilliant, the last time we came was 2 years ago when my husband proposed to me and the chef came out and congratulated us. This time round they remembered who we were, the food was fantastic as always and they were so helpful in helping us a book a cab as we are not from the area! We will always come back to this place. Hoping this business lives on post Covid!
