Hub Bar & Kitchen in Cornwall

Front of house were excellent, unfortunately we didn't get the guys name but we visited on the 12th April around lunch time. We hadn't booked but would recommend as we saw many people getting turned away. We were just fortunate that we got there early. Dog friendly too which is always a big win for us. The food was delicious ... we ordered the mac and cheese but unfortunately it wasn't available. The front of house explained this but said if we were happy to wait they'd get some fired up for us. We had our burgers and the mac and cheese swiftly followed. Great service and great food. Would visit again.

Well this was a let down tonight. Such a shame as it was highly recommended to us and we also looked at the reviews.Front of house staff now they were five stars they answered the questions we had and also very helpful and friendly. One of the best front of house staff I have met.Now the kitchen seems to be run by kids swearing and seem to not care. Touching food and taking chips from the plates. Not professional. My burger was very dry and the cheese was very tasteless. Such a shame as we walked by this place in the afternoon and seemed great. Maybe it was just us I don't know. Don't think we will go here again.Again front of house five stars!

Had a visit to St Ives Cornwall in December 2021 had a burger at the hub one of the best friendly staff clean with a lovely view of St Ives harbour all good

Went here for lunch on day out with family, was warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff, food was amazing and definitely get you're monies worth! Service was fabulous, restaurante was extremely clean and well layed out! Can't wait to go back again!

Decently priced food that's hot, tasty and large portions. Great selection of beers, definitely St Ives prices for the booze but this is in line with their competitorsBrilliant location and views.Don't wait at the bar its much quicker to order via the app.. the servers are busy doing the online orders and you'll find yourself waiting a long time.

Went here today with my Mum and Dad. Great location in the heart of St. Ives town centre with lovely food (I had the Kim Yum Chick burger with skin-on fries) and friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended! :)

Finally, a decent burger in St Ives and a chef that knows to toast a burger bun!! I hereby name you as King of Burgers in St Ives! No nonsense, PINK and properly cooked meat (not dark brown chewiness!), and a bun that contains the loaded burger. Juicy and tasty as hell! Fries also decent and a lovely range of dipping services. Fast and friendly service. So far above the other local burgers which might be why the rest seem to have given up! See you next year.

Hub was recommended to us whilst visiting Cornwall for the week and it absolutely did not disappoint! Burgers were 10/10, sides were fantastic and the location are great. (Added bonus point for having Peroni red)

We were told this is the best burger place and this place is booked up for weeks but the food was disappointing to be honest. Granted, the Hub won Britain’s best burger award in 2006 but since then the quality has dipped a bit. The onion rings were very oily and the burger was over done. For a ‘best’ burger place, I was surprised that we weren’t even asked how we’d have liked the burger to be cooked. The sweet potato fries were a little raw and their garlic mayo sauce tasted very mustardy. I liked their signature sauce and fresh lemonade (which may be too bitter for some people). The staff was absolutely lovely and the view is honestly breathtaking - especially when you sit on the balcony.

We had an amazing time dining at the Hub. The booking-in process was very smooth, however I’d recommend booking a day in advance as walk-ins are unlikely. Literally the best burger meal I’ve ever had. They also do NHS discount. The views are among the best you can see of St. Ives and the atmosphere and staff is inviting for date night and family dinners. I absolutely recommend eating here if you are in the area.
