Most pathetic restaurant in NewQuay. I'm quite sure most of the reviews are paid. They don't even have basic courtesy to greet customers properly. When we visited the restaurant in a group, the person at the front desk insisted to order one main course per head without even asking us to sit down and try out their restaurant. Can you belive such restaurant exists in the modern day? Hope this review helps other customers not to get fooled by 5* reviews rather the reality. There are few other Indian restaurants who are way better than these guys.

Third class, uncultured, rude staff. Never visit this down graded restaurant. I feel they have got paid reviews. The staff misbehaved and did not allow us enter the restaurant even. Just while entering the staff said he can only allow if each person is ordering one main course each. Did not even ask to sit down or give a table . I am surprised to see how with this kind of behaviour they are running a hospitality service. A must NO to avoid disappointment and embarrassment.

Rude staff who does not want you to dine in in large groups and turned us away by giving the pre determined clause of ordering a main dish per person and side orders won't count as main dishes. The person did not even offer us to seat and from the door step said he won't be able to give us table if we don't promise the clause mentioned above. Is this a way to behave with customers? BTw it's a blessing in disguise, we found a warm-friendly Indian restaurant just down the road INDIAN KITCHEN. The staff should teach Indian Summer people how to greet a customer.

Was in Cornwall for work from London this week and found this Indian place just by the seaside. I had king prawn, meat curries as well as garlic naan and chicken tikka. The food was excellent and the staff are friendly. I would recommend people who visit Newquay to come here if they fancy a great Indian restaurant meal

First visit here after visiting Newquay for years! What delicious food I have missed out on! Lovely warm welcome, nice to see bar prices reasonable (we are from Yorkshire!) 😉Excellent food and service would definitely recommend. Thank you to all staff involved.

Felt a bit ripped off to be honest. I was with my 13 year old daughter, at first they said 'adult price' for her buffet so we chose from the menu instead. After we had read the menu he said "ok half price for her" but we had already chosen by then. When we ordered he offered poppadoms which I thought because he offered were comp. but they werent... our bill was 38 pounds just for 2 mains, 2 pilaf rice, 1 beer, 1 water & the poppadoms. The food was ok but overall this felt very expensive, would not return.

Late review, my partner and myself spent the night in Newquay in November, as we was planning on going to a ‘rave’. By the time we had got there, we was famished and didnt think of dinner. We found Indian Summer just down the road from our hotel and they managed to fit us in on a busy night. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was out of this world. I haven’t been able to have my local Indian takeaway since! I’ve been craving their onion bhajis more than anything. Top service, top food, top atmosphere. Thank you Indian Summer for a very memorable meal!

Fantastic food and excellent service (thank you for being so patient with us). We ate out for a meal rather than our usual takeaway and it did not disappoint.... I had under booked the table but changing the size wasn't an issue and they were more than happy and as always with our take away just too much to finish so asked for a cheeky doggy bag and they didn't bat an eyelid there it was haha. Well priced and a good atmosphere. Defo recommend eating in the restaurant, we will be back soon! Thank you! 😊
