Jaipur Indian Cuisine in Cornwall

We were a table of 8 very last minute. Gary and the team accommodated us after all of the other restaurants were fully booked in Perranporth . The food was fantastic and worth the Wait.I actually struggle to comprehend the negative reviews.. I’m very particular and could not fault it. Thanks again for coming to save the evening !

The actual meal was nice, but I presume that the restaurant is making cutbacks.No table clothes, paper napkins, and after the meal, no hot towels to wipe your hands. I asked about them, but was told to use the facilities in the gents toilets. There was no hand wash in the dispenser. And not even a chocolate with the bill.

Disgusting lamb biryani. 0 flavour just tasted like oil. Couldn’t stomach more than 2 bites

Water was tasty. Foods looked like Indian food (that I know from my experiences in India) but it doesn't taste like Indian food. Waste of money for people who knows how Indian food taste like.

Service was fine for a takeaway collection but didn't make up for probably the worst curry we have ever had! Deserved a 1 star apart from the poppadoms and though chicken and prawns were fine, the sauce had less taste than my late mother in law's gravy! Maybe the chef had a night off, I don't know. Would have sent it back if eating in.

Plates, Cutlery and glasses filthy. Food was very average, waiter put a table of 12 drunk and loud people next to my girlfriend and myself trying to have a quiet meal, when the restaurant was empty. Not finished food, went for a cigarette and they had taken our food away without asking. All in all shocking experience will not be going back

Order was incomplete - owner wouldn’t send replacement item back out despite us using them regularly. You’ve just lost a regular customer as will not use your restaurant again if that’s how you treat regulars !!!!!!😡Rang the restaurant back for a refund for the item not received and could hear the owner getting irate in the background telling staff for me to ring back later sounded like he was feeling inconvenienced by my refund request.Whilst the staff member on the phone was apologetic and tried to assist - the owner / manager was just plain rude and disinterested so if you have a problem once he’s had your money BE WARNED

We sat in at the restaurant in September 2021 and the whole experience was brilliant. Staff were attentive and friendly. The food was incredible! We ordered too much the portions were very generous. Will be coming back next year on our holiday. Can’t recommend enough

So disappointed. We placed our order online as the telephone wasn't being answered (this carried on even when we were waiting in the restaurant). We ordered at 5:45 online for us to pick up at 7:15 knowing that it is a busy period. We turned up to collect at 7:00 in case they had got ahead of themselves. We kept being told we were next BUT we eventually picked up our order at almost 8:00pm. So nearly an hour during which time people did get a table off the street and were being served. It appears all effort goes into the JUST EAT because their boxes just kept coming. It was clear our order wasn't even started even whilst we were stood in the restaurant waiting and it must have been uncomfortable for people sat at table as we were there so long it must have disturbed them too. Absolutely appalling service and not an apology until they handed the food to us and offered a bottle of Rose as compensation - which we refused. Stunning incompetence in service. The food was OK, but tasted like it had been bulked up and lost flavour because of this.

Friendly staff, but busy for a Friday evening. Struggled to provide us with plates for our starters and napkins. Great portion sizes and prices, recommend the mutton dish, melts in your mouth and perfectly spiced.
