Decent chippy with outside seating, good choice with a kids choice menu. Very filling, don't leave food unattended as seagulls will pinch your food. Good value

Ordered 2 portions of chips, 2 fish cakes, 1 battered sausage and curry sauce £9.80. Good value and good quality

Ordered for a family of four which came to more than the family meal deal price, but was not told about meal deal price when ordering. We then decided we wanted drinks and mentioned about the meal deal after we'd seen it for ourselves and got told they wouldn't honor it even though we hadn't even been served our food yet.Chips were nice, fish tasted watery and pretty tasteless. Mushey peas not great either.

Doesnt take card. Told me where the nearest cash point is but didn't have any cash, and yes that is there fault because I was running around aimlessly looking for one as they wouldn't process our order until we paid. Could have walked to find a cash point and paid when food was ready

Went today at 2pm. Had the fish platter. Fish was freshly cooked and very nice, haddock, cod, filo prawns, scampi, calamari were very good. Chips were a real let down. So much that my dog didn't want them. Had obviously been sat there for a long time. Very brown, very old and not very nice. Don't get how a fish and chip shop can't get chips right. It's literally the basics.

I’ve come to Newquay regularly for years. But over the last few years I’ve never caught them open. I remember them being good. But not everybody eats after 5. The door says 11-8pm. So that’s misleading. Checked at lunch time planned the evening. Closed.

Was served raw fish, had an upset stomach for 4 days now as I ate half the fish before I realised. Advertised as best fish and chips in Cornwall. My stomach does not agree. Avoid !

Fantastic fish &chips right on the beach. Plenty of seating area with sea views. I would highly recommend this shop.

Not as bad as the other reviews are saying! Had a nice meal here - I chose the battered burger and chips while my partner had cod and chips - while the cod was a little bland, the food in general was pretty good. Plenty of seating outside and close to the beach! It was fairly busy when we got there but we didn't have to wait long for our meals which were well cooked and warm, and we managed to get seats!

Ordered two regular Cod and Chip meals. Meals arrived, but both fish were still raw in the middle. I immediately returned both meals to the counter, where I was told there was nothing wrong with the fish. After some 'discussion' with the staff, I was supplied with two fresh meals, and properly cooked fish. I found the whole experience embarrassing and quite unpleasant - I felt I was being called a liar. I won't be buying any more meals from this establishment
