Nice food and great portions. Can get busy however they do their best to get your order out in a timely manner.

The wait was a bit long because we found out there are telephone orders which then take priority. Great fish and chips though. Will use again and if we are in a hurry phone ahead!

Food good. Couldn't make out 1, was not allowed to put my own salt and vinegar on.(Strange) and women went on the car park shouting Haddock and Chips. I have seen people who tell me some of there mates are scared of going out (covid) get a grip without you knowing it you are scaring the likes of them. Covid is no longing a problem. You are turning the clocks back 2 years.....on a brighter note best fish and chips I've had for 2 years and that was at yours too

I would give 5 stars for the Fish and chips but the cardboard boxes they're served in are awful. By the time we got home tonight I couldn't get our food out of the bag. The condensation had made the boxes so soggy that my fingers were going straight through. Not good.

After using this chippy for years in the past but recently its changed. We were dissapointed last time but thought it must have been a one off and would give them another go. They wont be getting a third.. We clearly ordered 2 fish and chips and 2 sausages. (Those waiting outside even heard). We received 1 fish and chips. They had only charge for one but we hadnt noticed until it was ready. To get a second portion would have taken so long we just shared. The wait was significant despite only a few people there. The portion was awful. Upon opening the box grease quite literally poured out. The box was soaked in it. The fish was small compared to other chippys and when breaking into it it turned out to be mostly batter. The batter was so oily i could use it as lip balm. And the chips ubderneath was sodden with it. On top of this none of it had any flavour and they didnt add the requested salt and vinegar. So bad i felt sick. We ended up going elsewhere. Will never use again. Such a shame. Christ knows what happened to the place.

Very ordinary fish and chips tonight - a lot more batter than fish ... and the fish itself was very dry (we had a standard and a large cod and both were disappointing). We came here a few months ago and quality was excellent, so either something has changed or they simply can't maintain consistency ...

We returned last night for fish and chips and we were so glad we did it was very busy but worth the wait they were delicious and still good quality and quantity even though it was busy. Great service. Fantastic food.

Fantastic fish and chips! Crisp tasty batter around a perfectly cooked moist fish. Service was friendly and efficient even in these challenging times. The polite and socially distanced crowd of people waiting for their orders is testament to the quality. Plenty of parking next to the shop. I will be back!
