This is the place to swim especially the Geothermal pool when in Penzance. You must book Geothermal pool in advance as it gets very busy. Nice renovation works keeping the original look along with cafe and terrace overlooking pool.

Where else are you going to go on the Platinum Jubilee but the Jubilee Sea pool in Penzance? Well you could go lots of other places but we went here for a swim. Shame that a good 2/3rds of the pool were closed off, but we still enjoyed the rolling black clouds and fresh breeze while we went soft and wet suited a good 30+ minutes back and forth in the water. Grabbed some bits out the shop and then enjoyed the cafe who replenished us admirably before a stroll around Penzance proper.Seems to me like this pool should twin with the Jubilee Park lido in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. Book early for the thermal pool, we were denied access because our inability to adequately plan ahead.

This is honestly as close to Ibiza you'll get in Cornwall and it's brilliant, lovely staff, wonderful pools and great vibes

Loved it. For non locals, they have 5 spots up for grabs for each session, but definitely worth booking. My wife is not a fan of my obsession of getting in cold water, but she joined me at 08:00 for this and was smiling like mad as she walked into the pool

Wanted to go here for a while now and today I went to the geothermal pool for a 33 degree warm dip. Really relaxing. Best to pre-book your timed ticket online as they are currently limiting numbers. There are changing booths, warm showers and loos poolside. The cafe is really good too. Tables inside and out. Dogs are welcome on the top terrace where the cafe is too. Going to try the main seawater pool later in the week, as it's only open Friday and Saturday at present.

Booked 2 weeks in advance for the geo thermal pool. It is lovely and warm 35c. You just float around for an hour. Salt water. I thought it was quite small so you can't really swim much. No proper Changing rooms or showers which was disappointing. Only cubicles with no doors and 2 cold showers no hot water. Quite run down. Shame really.

Very lovely experience - excellent lido main pool with lots of space even with only half of it in use. We managed to get tickets for the small geothermal pool as well, on the day as none were left to buy in advance. The cafe is excellent, and the staff were all so helpful and friendly.

Don't seem to be many places in Penzance to have a drink with a sea view. The poolside cafe here has a few picnic tables overlooking the pool and seafront, order at the window or wait for table service in the cafe. Pool looks great. Just had drinks, quite windy as per normal seaside.

We had a lovely time, but some areas slightly run down, locks broken on changing room, one shower child's pool was dirty, rusty looking wall. My daughter has shares in the pool so understand the works done to reopen. We were disappointed geothermal had completely sold out for the whole summer, many weeks before our trip. We still had a good time and would recommend booking well well in advance. Weather is important too, otherwise bring a wetsuit.

Nice place to visit, you need to book. Geo thermal pool is booked until end of August. Could have been cleaner in my opinion. Lots of lifeguards around. Nice cafe which we ate in.
