Clean, quick service, good food all reasonably priced

Kavorna cafe, delicious haddock and chips with tartare sauce. Quick service situated in Hugo town St Mary's.

Went for breakfast in the morning, waited in the queue for 10-15 minutes behind one other customer, as soon as we got to the till we were told we were 1 minute too late for breakfast by the young girl (with an attitude). Not all was bad, pasty and coffee was nice, thank you to the young chap making the coffees who was very friendly and apologetic.

Lovely staff, best fish finger sandwich ever had. No ordinary fish finger I might add with salad and lovely tartar sauce with chips. Must visit if on the island!!!

Good meal at sensible prices. Probably due to Covid and an excess of visitors to the island thevstaff seemed a little harassed, don't get me wrong were polite, friendly, and helpful but you could see the strain. Hope they have a less stressful season next year

We were visiting the Kavorna Cafe and bistro and we ordered our meal and gave our table number then decided to change tables due to the sun and we explained the out changing to one of the waitresses which at was accepted and then another waitress came out with our order and she acted as she was appalled with our changing of seats and stood there wanting us to change back until we explained that we had discussed our reasoning for the change to another waitress at that there were no problem, as the cafe wasn’t busy then, then she came over to our table and literally slung our fish and chips and our salt n vinegar on the table and stomped off. Needless to say that this totally took away our experience of our dinner from being a nice one. Do not visit here as the service is waitress customer relations are not good.

A lovely cafe with a few outdoor seats but plenty indoors.A nice menu varying over the course of the day.The full English & vegi breakfast are both very nice, as is the fresh coffee.Very nice polite & helpful staff too.

Very nice evening meal. Saw that they had tables available for this evening and secured the booking with a deposit which was understandable. Food and service was very good. Lovely staff who were working very hard. Very good fish and chips and excellent local ale.

Lovely cafe. Very friendly staff and great pasties and cakes. Even welcomed me in dripping wet after walking the garrison walls in horrendous weather. Great atmosphere and a lot of locals too, which is always a good sign.
