Lemon Twist in Cornwall

Came here last week Wednesday around 9:30pm. Someone had made a mistake of telling us the kitchen was closing at 9:45 but this had actually been changed to 9pm. After clearing this up, the team were very glad to seat us to a table& take our orders. We had a few drinks and the seafood platter. This was our last night in Falmouth and this was honestly our best meal, with prompt and friendly service. I unfortunately did not get any names but the two young people serving that night (10th of August) and the person who looked to be the manager- all did an amazing job, everything was great about this place& it’s located in a really beautiful part of town also. Highly recommend.

Good place for dinner, with decent vegetarian menu. We had scallops with chorizo, cauliflower tacos and crab loaded chips, all really nice. Staff are friendly and they serve dinner until quite late. We arrived quite late but they still treated us well :)

We are loyal or were loyal locals ... we have been going in here once a month or more since it opened. we loved it, always spent a lot and celebrated many occasions there in the past both 18th birthday ironically after this eve!!BUT now it has massively gone down hill in quality.. twice been in no oysters and in season...tonight no lager on tap only bottles!and despite my daughters being over 18 you refused to serve them cocktails without their ID on them when you have never questioned this before!!! we took them out as treat only to be met wit this attitude, they have had countless cocktails in the past in here without question. we left tonight, we won't go back... on complaining it would seem that loyalty means nothing and so we went else where... big loss to you as we spent a lot of money over your time there and so have our children with their friends. Awful response by email to management too. just don't bother especially if local other places deserve the support more

It was okay. Staff were polite and friendly, service was quick enough. My issue was the food. I had fish tacos and I've never had them like that before. The fish was good, but came with coleslaw in the taco. I love coleslaw, but it wasn't very nice stuff and weird with fish. I didn't notice coleslaw mentioned on the menu, I may have missed it, I'm not sure, but it tasted odd with fish. Other than that, all good though

The fish tacos are the best I've ever had. The place is fun and vibrant, cocktails were strong and delicious. It would be a 5 star review but a tad dampened by 5 or 6 staff members wandering around chatting but nobody checking in, we tried a few times to ask for another drink, and our waitress took away our menus when we managed to order another round even though we were going to order dessert so we skipped it. We'd definitely give it another go, as the food is to die for, but the service could definitely have been improved. Would not have minded at all if it were busy, but 3 tables full and a ton of staff about so worth a mention.

We end up here as our 1st choice restaurant only had sits available outside on a cold evening and ran out of most dishes and thank god we did. The service and atmosphere were spot on from minute one. It were 5 of us so we were invited to ait in what looked like the master table and it had one of the most confortable seats in the world. Everyone who served us was very nice, always with a smile a lbd good tips about their food and beverages. Now about the food, just one word: Amazing! Fresh seafood, oysters, prawns with shell on, mussels, a whole list of delicious sea tapas. Deserts were amazing too, cheesecakes are delicious! If I happen to be in Falmouth again will definitely come! Thanks guys xx
