Awful dirty shop, I understand the importance of a village shop but quite honestly I have used it three times, met with rudeness on two occasions. I much rather drive to Lostwithiel for my shopping, cheaper great variety and hygiene is far better.

Delicious pasties, toasties and cake overlooking the river

I had a fantastic bacon & egg roll for breakfast and an amazing vegetarian pasty for lunch. Highly recommend! We used the shop/cafe a lot throughout our stay. Ignore the harsh reviews on this place - nothing to complain about with a beautiful setting beside the river, polite staff and great food. Also brilliant for a tiny village to have a store for essential bits and bobs. Thank you!

I was really disappointed with the food I purchased here. A lovely spot by the river, but the quiche I bought was freezing cold and tasted horrible! And at £6.50 for a small slice, with a tiny bit of salad and a few crisps thrown on, a real waste of money. Shame.

Best sausage and bacon roll ever... they even stock my greeting cards too... free parking nearby and a lovely riverside walk. Perfect place for a before and or after snack as well as the place to pick up some essentials

This store/cafe is in a beautiful setting. After a really nice walk we decided to get take out teas before returning to the car. What a disappointment that was, £2 each for a cup of tasteless watery milky liquid, an insult to a proper cup of tea. Come on River Stores, making a good tasty cuppa isnt rocket science. Would have taken it back and complained but it took ages to get served to order the tea, wasnt prepared to que a 2nd time. In future i will bring a flask when i go for a walk around Lerryn.

Very pretty setting, huge shame about the service and total lack of concern over hygiene. We bought tea and cakes which are handed out in paper bags. When we sat down we took one cake out to immediately see it had a long human hair embedded in it. These things happen, no big deal. But when we politely took it back they were incredibly rude and told us that we were lying, and that as we had taken the cake out of the bag they wouldn't exchange it. The woman was so rude and uncaring and I'm sure she put the cake back out to re sell. Disgusting attitude and hygiene.

Very generous amount of ice-cream served up in a choice of cones or a tub. Super useful that you can also go into the shop to pay by card if you do not have enough cash. Located directly next to the free parking area on the Riverfront it's very useful to have have a store like this in Lerryn.

Very small shop and cafe facilities with outside seating over looking the river. Sytaff genuinely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Next to the small free car park in a picturesque village with an historic bridge and stepping stones accross the river at low tide. Good clean toilets in car park aprox15 metres away. Thoroughly recommend but only 4 stars due to limitation by size for shopping.
