Coffee is best in the area, staff are really friendly ,and the owner even took time out for a chat ,going back for afternoon tea😁,would highly recommend to bypass all the others and have your refreshments here 👍

Lovely cafe, very clean, looks freshly decorated. Food is as lovely and the service was excellent. However it was a little pricey but worth the money.

My wife went into the cafe and ordered drinks, they came in due course, delivered by a very pleasant member of female staff.I had occasion to go back into the cafe to use the toilet facilities, they were in the corner of the room the door displaying a toilet sign, I went to use the facilities when a male member of staff shouted you cannot use these they are for staff only. I said it doesn't say so, he then shut the door. I showed him my card which was given to me stating that the holder of this card has a medical condition and needs to use the toilet facilities urgently. He said he didn't care and that they were staff toilets. I explained that I had surgery for bowel cancer and I have to use the toilet frequently. His reply was that's your problem not mine.If this is how they treat paying customers, I would stay clear.

A very pleasant little cafe, for the village, it's a bit on the steep side price wise for sandwiches however they're consistently nice!

Well most people seem to think that this is a good place. Not on our experience today Sun 29/5.We went in and spent 45mins waiting for our food, and that was just part of the problem. Now it was a busy day in Looe and most places were overrun and that should have been a warning. We were served within 5 mins so not bad, coffee and tea arrived within 15 but then where was our food. Now I accept as per the sign that they don't do fast food but fresh food as fast as possible. That is acceptable to me but no warning as to the length of wait, the people served after us were warned of a long wait for food but no indication of the time to allow. So a simple order of two sandwiches a bowl of chips and one of onion rings turned into a farce. Whilst we were waiting it was impossible to ignore the numerous incorrect deliveries to tables lucky enough to be actually fed. One observation that we made is that one lady server who charged around the place returned from a storage area clutching a number of Panini rolls to her bosom, obviously no basic food handling course completed by this individual. !!Whilst sitting waiting forlornly for our food I did get to show the staff how to change a paper roll on the card reader. This was the highlight of our visit and 5 mins later our food arrived, the onion rings were burnt and at £3 for a portion I expected real ones not oven burnt rings and there were only 4 of them, so the chips looked ok but the first and thinnest was not cooked in the middle and the final insult having clearly TWICE stated the order as being salad free and on white bread we were served granary and salad. It was time to leave Hungry and frustrated.

Lovely friendly staff, but ploughman's so disappointing was so looking forward to one. For the price got salad, 3 pieces sliced apple, tiny bowl of chutney, slice of thin ham and thin slice of cheese and pot of coleslaw that was watery, no bread roll, no pickles. Ordered side of onion rings £2 got 3 and half rings. It was such a shame as lovely little cafe and clean.
