Great bakery and tea room on the main st of Bodmin.

Such rude ,miserable staff,I took my guide dog in ,and the woman behind the counter barked, get your dog out,I told her he was a service dog,and I wanted a coffee in the cafe, she pointed up the stairs, where a tiny woman in glasses and shoulder length hair said, you can't bring that in here and pointed to my dogI got out my paperwork to prove he was a service dog, they are so unfriendly and downright miserable,I wanted a nice experience and got a load of rubbish..bad customer service ,surely there are people out there wanting jobs who would be kind...left me feeling very sad,

Lovely food, good value.

Food was well priced and delicious, glad we randomly chose this place...... no pics because the food went down too quickly

Staying in Bodmin for a couple of days a local taxi driver told us these pasties were the best. He was not wrong. The steak pasty filling was just perfect and the pastry was excellent. I also took the opportunity to buy a chocolate shortbread and a chocolate flapjack to share with my friend.... They just melted in the mouth. Wish I lived closer!

Friendly and helpful. Food was great. The lady who served me made me and my sons made us feel so welcome.

I've always loved Malcolm barnecutts.Foods always been enjoyable with fresh ingredients and the general hygiene has always been good.unfortunately though I went there to order a sandwich and she said that she wouldn't make me one, because it was one minute past the time that they stop serving. One minute!Slightly disappointing.

Clean, split level bakery then dining area up a couple of steps. Extra dining area at back. Toilets up another level. Food hot and service friendly and prompt. Prices very reasonable. Gift products also on sale. Just coffee, light lunch or full meal. All tasty.
