·

An amazing variety of top class food. Reasonably priced for such quality

·

Superb vegan pasty and the coffee is excellent with a choice of both soya and oat milk replacements to suit the taste. High quality salads and baking available for those who eat meat and those who don't. The new refit shows this store going from strength to strength.

·

Excellent cornish pasties followed by carrot cake yummy

·

Hands down best carrot cake and sausage and bacon bap on seeded bread I've ever had! We will be back during our holiday in Cornwall!

·

Great pasties, salads and cakes. They do very well on gluten free too. Thank you! Barnacutts is always a central part of our Cornish holiday

·

Very popular bakery, leading to queues outside. (Covid restrictions on numbers inside the shop). Lovely pasties. Good brown seeded loaf. Nice croissants.

Absolutely fantastic pasties! You must stop here if you’re in Rock!

Originally from Devon and moved to the South East a few years ago and so coming down to the South West, I was really looking forward to a good pasty. Unfortunately, these pasties were probably the worst Id ever eaten, though Ive never tried the cellophane wrapped things you find in supermarkets, Id imagine they are pretty bad too! My husband had a steak pasty and said it had no taste and he didnt like it. I tried the vegetarian and it was like no other vegetarian pasty Ive ever had before. The filling comprised of edamame beans, kidney beans, corn and I dont know what else, not the normal swede or potato, carrot and peas etc. and had no flavour. The pastry was as hard and tough as leather, again with no flavour, made with hard hands, as my grandmother would say; I prefer a more flakier pastry. The best pasty Ive ever had was in Salcombe, I also like Ivor Dewney in Plymouth. I wouldnt buy these again.

Nice little bakery with good food, lost a star due to a wait for my coffee outside in the pouring rain. Perhaps provide some sort of shelter at the exit waiting place for those that need to wait. Other than that, a good experience.

I've had many pasties throughout Cornwall and the ones from here top the list. There's also a great range of breads and cakes. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.
