Food really nice service amazing there had been a mix up over our booking but they couldn't have been more accommodating in sorting us a table. Staff very friendly and very good in looking after us

As a previous employee of this company I strongly advise you not to go here for drinks or food. The owner is old fashioned and stuck in her ways and Scott young treats his staff horrendously and is a rude, vile aggressive man. several other ex employees I've spoken with have all had the same complaints that he is rude, aggressive and lacks compassion and people skills that are required in such a role... the general cleanliness of the establishment behind the scenes is disgusting the ife machine has black mold which Is clearly months old... unbranded spirits poured into premium spirit bottles to charge a premium, pre mixes of egg white cocktails left out at room temperature and these are just a few of the things I witnessed in my short time working at the establishment... there's a lot more behind the scenes this place needs closing down and re opening under new management it's a really shame to see something in the heart of Truro gl so downhill and also to treat its local staff in such a way. So once again avoid this place if you wish to have a good cocktail head to On The Rocks, Lawrence's or vertigo where you will have a better, cleaner, more value for money experience rather than the dirty, overpriced, rude mannings which chooses to continue to put the profit margin above customer and staff satisfaction.

Had a great date night, stayed in one of the apartments and dined in the restaurant. Staff were lovely, great friendly service and great food but the menu was in need of updating which we understand is happening this month. A great stay, as usual,.

We like to pop in for a cocktail or coffee whilst shopping. It's a lovely welcome and although seating is limited the service is fab. We highly recommend!

My Steak and Stilton sizzler was amazing and the prices are great BUT I was happily going to pay a tip but when I saw the bill and the tip was already applied I refused to pay it because tips are optional and this is not America!

Absolutely first class dining every time I eat here. I adore Mannings restaurant and their cocktails are amazing. The staff are all wonderful and I would highly recommend to anyone. Consider that most pub food costs a minimum of £13 per meal or almost £20 for a steak, Mannings is only a few pounds more for their cheapest meals on their menus and the food and service is leaps ahead of anywhere else I've been. If you love dining out and haven't tried here then please do because you're in for a real treat 😍 our starter on the occasion I took this photos, was the tempura king prawns, main was the chef's own take on beef wellington (phenomenal) and desert was chocolate lava cake. Their menu does change seasonally too so always new things to try too.
