Great hotel, lovely food fabulous service, highly recommended if you are in Falmouth. Staff are so pleasant and friendly. Great 3 days.

Food great only problem no wine flight with taster menu but a good night

We had intended to go for the 'tasting' menu. However, it was not made clear that this was not available on Mondays. Instead we were presented with a 'grazing' lunchtime menu. The food was alright, but very expensive for what it was - we have definitely had better quality/value in other places in Falmouth.The waiting staff were friendly but inexperienced. An example was when red wine was being poured and we were asked to 'say when'.... Also, they ran out of steak knives and one of the party was presented with a 'cheese' knife as a substitute....It is a shame, as the restaurant was recommended and we had high expectations.

For a rosette restaurant, very disappointing. Bland food. Poor value for money. Had to send my steak back. Desserts were good but very small

Fantastic on all counts.Stupidly I had booked the wrong date but the maitre d' was unbelievably accommodating and found us a table, with only a small wait in the bar.The tasting menu is amazing and paired with the wine flight is excellent value. The food is interesting without becoming overly experimental and the local focus is clear and highly appropriate.The waiting staff were attentive and helpful without being suffocating.Highly recommend overcoming the inertia around hotel dining, this is not a staid hotel restaurant but something far more interesting and welcoming.

Absolutely incredible food and wine at Rastella. We stayed in the hotel, and could not help but eat here every night. The menu is impeccably curated, and everything is of such high quality. The wine list is extensive and very good. The staff are friendly and attentive; Katie made our evenings at Rastella particularly memorable and enjoyable - thanks Katie.

This is the restaurant that is part of merchants manor where they serve breakfast and dinner in the same area. Lovely setting; the breakfast is superb and the one meal we had was also good - we were originally booked for the taster menu which was cancelled on the day due to staff shortage - assuming this was covid related. The a la carte menu was nice though and we were able to try a dessert that was originally on the taster menu which was unreal (lemon pudding). Friendly staff.

Do not be fooled by the other ratings for this restaurant. Compared to the 5 other restaurants we have eaten in Falmouth this week it’s DOUBLE the price at a staggering £500 for 6 , and the service really poor . London prices , bang average food at rip off prices , and all the staff need training if they are going charge top dollar

Highly recommend, food and service was exceptional and it was such an enjoyable experience. We had the set menu with wine pairing which was great value for the quality of food and wine served.
