Wonderful setting for a really great lunch..Ben is an amazing chef and his wife Samantha is excellent front of house. The food was superb as always.

Quite exceptional. Today was our fourth visit and the standard, as always, was exceptional.Their signature dish “ twice baked cheese soufflé” is absolutely outstanding. Friendly staff backed up by excellent service combined with a lovely relaxed atmosphere makes this our “go to” venue for food and wine. Give it a try - you will not regret it!

Had a works Christmas lunch here and all I can say is wow! A lovely setting even in our Conish mizzle! Amazing food and friendly service too. Loved it and plan to be back soon!

A wonderful restaurant in a fabulous location. We were lucky with the autumn weather and were able to sit outside in the sunshine, listening to the stags in the neighbouring field. The food was exceptional and the service was fantastic - friendly and informative without being overbearing. We will definitely be returning.

Fabulous food and surroundings. The Twice Baked Davidstow Cheddar Souffle is so good. Lobster nicely prepared, sweet and tender, and served with a garlic butter. Ben, Sam and the staff are doing an amazing job. Very friendly and great service.

Great food. Good service. I had duck leg which was cooked to perfection. My partner had plaice which was well cooked, beautifully presented. Would recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, environment and staff. Definitely a place I'll go back. We had the scallops as a starter, and the red mullet (delicious) and the lobster as main dishes. Highly recommended.

Really special place. Our first meal out post lock-down and I cannot overstate how impressed we were with the entire experience. The service was outstanding and we felt so welcome from the moment we stepped through the door (greeted by the hostess, the waitress and the chef).The atmosphere was so lovely and the decking out the back overlooks some beautiful landscaped ponds and fields. I can't remember the last time I visited a restaurant that was so peaceful and calming.The food and drinks were exceptional, with local produce (in some cases very very local owing to the the allotment at the back of the restaurant) being the star of the show!Not a bad thing to say. Thoroughly impressed. Thanks for a wonderful visit.
