Nettles in Cornwall

Cooked while I waited cheaper & better than other chippie top of town.

Lush chips.. clean oil and tasty.. and funky lil place.. got small portion and was nice size

We visited one evening on our break in Cornwall when returning from a long day out and about. The food and service was very good. I certainly got the idea that this is a very popular establishment, as there were plenty people waiting for their orders when we arrived.Overall very pleased.

Best ever I've had down in Cornwall. And the cheese and onion fritter was like something you'd expect from a gastro pub. Highly recommended

Outstanding fresh food cooked to order.Telephone your order though, decide when you'd like to collect it and it will be waiting for you. They do get busy as they are so good so bear that in mind. The owner/staff are lovely too.Ther reviews mention parking being an issue but it really isn't unless you need to park directly outside the shop (which is possible sometimes). There are side streets around which are a short walk away. You'll always find parking. Besides which, a short walk is worth it for the awesome food.

Great place to have fish and chips! Fish portion for haddock was ok but the portion of chips sure made up for it! Unless you want to wait for a while - would reccomend calling and pre ordering in advance!

Delicious fish and chips.We went for the medium and it was perfect!Fish was fresh, crispy batter and the best chippy chips I've ever had.Was quite busy when we arrived (Friday night!) We were greeted with very friendly service and our fish and chips much quicker than expected!Could not really ask for more.Thank you Nettles!
