New Hong Sing Takeaway in Cornwall

I have placed 5 different orders recently.And not one of them has had what I ordered.Massive wait time for take away tonight forty minutes for chips egg fried rice and a House far from Special without the sweet and sour chicken I ordered.One star too many.

We ordered at 17.52 and was told the food would be with us between 18.30 and 20.00, the call handler read our list back to us and we agreed it was correct. Due to having a group of friends we paid £79.00 for our order. At 20.10 we called asking where the good was. We were told the "kitchen" said it was being served up and now leaving. At 20.35 we called and was told it had left. Shortly after it arrived.When we opened it we found that simply 2 dishes were missing. Very basic items of noodles that's it.There was no personal gain to get extra elaborate dishes we just wanted to two noodles delivered.When I called, the lady I spoke to was very defensive saying she read the order back and I was in the wrong. I said I was not and it was just two noodles please can they deliver them. She basically accused me of not ordering them as "why would she delete them?". I said I know I ordered them cause she read the list back.At this point I was accused at shouting. It's just 2 noodle dishes, the world has more going on I wouldn't and have never shouted at someone. I tried to be nice and calm her down. Then accused by doing this I must have shouted. She told me she would be more polite than the kitchen if I wanted to speak to them. After explaining we use them regularly the lady said I will tell the kitchen they will not be getting your custom and hung up.The food is lovely, as far as I can say the best in town, but the customer service is shocking. It was just two noodles, all they had to say was no problem. Instead I was made to feel it was all my fault and I was rude for asking. Won't be using again.

Yummy food! Even driven back to St Austell a few times and still hot on arrival! :DWaits can be longer but it’s only because this Chinese food is so good so it’s really popular. If you want quality and not rushed food this is the place to visit!Mmmmmm. Already thinking about my next order! Thanks New Hong Sing! ❤️

I'm vegan. I bought onion fried rice and fried mushrooms. I would add my own protein to that. Delicious. Friendly service. Clean premises. Good price.

First off they told us to get there for 6:20 to pick our food up, we got there at 6:20, we didn't get our food untill 6:45 and then we get home, open up and the portions are ridiculous, a kind of amount you would give to a child, The Singapore noodles have peppers missing and again half a portion in a big foil tray, Then there's the chips, like rubber nuggets, I'd expect the prices to be lower with the quality of food but there prices are quite higher than golden koi down the road, Only went here as golden koi is closed today and I will never go again, I would rather eat McDonald's of the floor

Nice food with good portions and was still very hot when got back home.

This is our local through and through. This is our comfort food that we treat ourselves to all the time. The food is always perfect - hot, tasty and always on time. They're quite popular and seem to have increased in popularity recently (and we can see why) but they still treat us like special regulars. We're so regular that they remember our order! The lovely lady who operates the front desk is so funny and awesome and honestly - she deserves so much respect. And the few glimpses we have seen of the chefs have always been great, always smiling and so polite.This is what we look forward to every week. And whilst we may have the same thing every time, I know that everything they cook is perfect. I honestly can't say enough good about these guys - we love you very much and you make our weeks that little bit more bearable!

Wow! Came from Hull East Yorkshire for a week at Lowenva Site, Instead of going out for a meal we thought we would get a Chinese delivery.I haven't had a Chinese as good as this for a long long time.Was exceptional.Well worth the try 😊

Have been assured in past my usual order is vegetarian friendly - so I was very disappointed to find chunks of chicken in a mushroom chow mien tonight. Unfortunately can’t even say this may have been because of two dishes being mixed up, because the chicken was stone cold!Will not be ordering with the rest of my group again in the future.

Very poor experience. Historically this Chinese has been good but lately it’s been incredibly poor. I ordered today at 7pm. At 9pm I called to find out what was happening. Food didn’t arrive until 9.10pm. You can’t charge for delivery and then provide such a poor service. The food was ok, sweet and sour was pretty bland. So not great by any means. Very disappointed
