New Inn at Veryan in Cornwall

No Guinness but the food looked really good if we were stopping for food

Nice pub in veryan village are original plan to have a meal at portloe was scuppered because of burst water main the new Inn saved the day thank you

What a pub should be. Small, warm, friendly. Nice chap working behind the bar. Food as good as any restaurant. Empty when we arrived (early evening) but filled up with locals. Really nice to see places like this are still out there.

Went for a drink and had to wait for 15 min before I got served even though it wasn't busy.Beer tasted awful and frothy due to unclean beer lines. Bar staff would not give you fresh glass unless you asked for it, and was made to feel uncomfortable when asking for a fresh glass. This is not acceptable during, especially during Covid time. As a local I know many more nicer pubs neary by, so dont waste your money there. Rude and unprofessional owners who will ruin the atmosphere. That was a bad experiences.

Very poor experience, I certainly wouldn't recommend a visit. You will be very disappointed. The service was awful, the landlord and landlady are extremely rude.And made us feel very uncomfortable. As a local person I would like to try and support local pubs but they have made it impossible, I have never been treated as bad in any other pub in my entire life.

They don't make pubs like this place anymore. A proper local village pub. Traditional decor, friendly efficient service and tasty no nonsense hearty food.

We always receive a nice warm welcome from this pub when visiting the Veryan. A good mix of locals and holidaymakers, most enjoying the lovely meals on offer. Great quality at a reasonable price.

Food was consistently delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. Really recommend for a lovely meal out.Need to point out that the men’s toilets were iffy and there’s a lack of parking around the restaurant. However, apart from that can’t fault it!

Great home cooked style food which was well presented and tasty. Staff could not do enough and don't pass up the lovely desserts as well. There is a specials board as well to tempt you. Very COVID safe with seated service and one way systems in place.
