28 day matured beef more like a barren cow! Run out of yourshire pudding but didn't say that when we ordered, only give one star because you can't give any less we'll never return that's a fact very disappointed

Great food. Sunday is carvery only. But very tasty and friendly staff. I was surprised to see an identical picture that my dad had as well. A pub with lots of character

We popped in for a drink and couldn’t believe how downhill this place has gone in last 12 months. Depressing atmosphere, no bitter, unwelcome staff; stools removed from bar area, menu lacking imagination and everything geared to microwaved food. The impression gained was the place is now run by people who have little experience of providing a good service. One of those pubs where when you walk in the locals give you a look suggesting they don’t want you there. When will Cornwall wake up and realise you need the income tourists bring in to survive and improve

Popped in with our children only for drinks. Have visited polmanter touring park many times, but never used the adjacent pub. Lovely atmosphere, rustic feel, nice touches such as body sprays, and nappies in the toilets incase you have forgot them ! Recommend the pinot blush if you like your wines. Little courtyard out back with pretty flowers and parasols. Will try and eat there next time, menu looks good.

Great staff, food was lovely and good sized portions. Very welcoming atmosphere for people and dogs alike!

·

Nice local pub, feeling a bit dated but I quite like that. Good range of beer.

·

Terrible food, tawdry decor.I had beef and ale pie served with peas and 'chips'. The beef was good but the sauce with in the pie was runny and poorly seasoned. The pastry was ridiculously thin and. The chips were actually frozen skinny fries- dry, overcooked and a small my portion. My wife had hake - don' eat that. Greasy and just grim.

Right ok most of this has to be some of the HANDSDOWN WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD FROM A PUB…Got told by the owner that we had to move because us and the dog were in the way? Note for the owners my as what we were in the way of..? Allmost ALL OFF IT was FROZEN. When we orderd we heard the Owner say “ I don’t know where any of this is!” In his cockney accent. You my be asking why the 3⭐️ Then? Well that’s because of shaun lovey guy very nice (And Irish) I don’t want to give this 5 stars because of the food but my heart goes out to Shaun and Shaun if your reading this please go find a different work establishment you really don’t deserve this. :)
