Love a set menu and this didn’t disappoint! We ate it all; smoked cod’s roe, spider crab, cured sea bass, hake, lobster dumpling, monkfish satay, turbot on the bone + a vanilla set cream with strawberries & lemon curd 😋 tapas-style and I’m still hungry 🤦Eclectic wine list but keep it Cornish; Camel Valley Pinot Noir Rose Brut and Bacchus, Knightor Winery£80 pp + drinks

Fresh, flavorful, attention to detail and the perfect serving sizes, Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen in Port Isaac, Cornwall is a gem of a restaurant. They serve a set menu with many small plates of creative dishes with seasonal ingredients. Truly spectacular!

Pleasant evening but the £80 set menu is far overpriced. 7 courses, of which the first 2 were bites, next was half a taco and then small pieces of fish to share. First time we have been to a tasting menu where we haven’t left full, and instead disappointed given high expectations.

Had a delightful night here celebrating our Anniversary. Couldn't fault anything, delicate, varied and tasty menu, intimate setting and perfect service, not over the top. But the food was delish, nothing to fault, some good vino too and some cheeky cocktails. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to go back again at some point. Thanks.

As always the food was really good when we ate at the restaurant on Saturday, however, our table was right in the window and it was freezing. We had to keep our coats on throughout the meal but unfortunately the staff were not particularly receptive to our feedback, which was a shame.I’d always recommend eating there though. The selection of fish dishes is varied and great quality.

Very disappointed with the whole experience, the food was not up to outlaws usual standard. We were never asked once if we enjoyed what we had, we had food left on our plate every course except dessert. But not once was it questioned. I have no wish to go again. I can't wait to go back to his other restaurant in port issac, they seemed proud of what they served, and of what we thought of it, the opposite of this one.

Quirky venue with fantastic staff. The food was exceptional and we tried so many things we would have ordinarily. Would highly recommend and come again!

A seafood experience! The set menu is brilliant and the portion sizes are just right. Looked after very well by the staff.

Fantastic experience. Tiny restaurant with only 4 tables during our visit (thanks to coronavirus) but a warm welcome and excellent service throughout. Only a set menu available, but that made the experience better as it just meant the food served was based around what had been freshly caught. There was a good variety of dishes, and the whole experience was more relaxed and casual than your typical Michelin-starred dining experience. Access into Port Isaac is on foot via a relatively steep hill, so be warned. It is quite picturesque though...

We were excited to come here after having a fantastic experience at one of Nathan Outlaw’s restaurants in London. The building itself is absolutely brilliant, just like the town of Port Isaac. It’s tiny and beautiful. We came in the great COVID pandemic of 2020 which meant there were only four tables and the staff wore visors, but they still were friendly and smiley, and spoke loud enough to hear through the PPE. Every course from the set menu was well presented and brilliantly executed, I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The main course of classic ‘scampi and chips’ had some fantastic twists (it was lobster with a chilli jam and chips with a garlic and herb mayo) that all came together perfectly. On top of everything the waiter served my mums dessert of heavenly baked cheesecake with a little candle in it for her birthday which made her smile.Cannot recommend enough.
