Average fish and chips, cooked to order, but ended a bit greasy. Nice and hot, at reasonable price.

Great food, freshley cooked, wide variety and good prices, lovely ladies to chat as well. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area or close to the Eden. (apart of the G7)

Always a pleasure to go in and order brilliant staff, brilliant portions, always kind and will deal with any problems then and there. My grandparents have been going here for years no complaints and if wrapped proper can stay piping hot to liskeard - Adam

Fish was cooked whilst you wait so you know its fresh and hadn't been hanging around for hours, really nice and decent portions

My son was sick after visiting, can't say for sure it was because of going here but he'd not eaten anything else that day

The quality of cooking is a bit hit and miss (depending who is on duty) and the chips are often more scrappy bits than "proper" chips. Friendly staff, competitively priced and good portions. There are better chippy's in the St Austell area but we Penwithick residents should support them.

Friendly owner. Freshly fried cod and chips. Keep supporting your local chippie! Nice to eat after a day walking or visit Eden Project which is a short drive away.

I am not trying to be nasty but when I walked in to what seemed to be a really nice local chippy, I was greeted with a unpleasant smell of old burnt oil. We ordered our chips (hoping to get nicer food than what we had smelt), which took a while and then they brought out some soggy and burnt chips, but we still decided to try them and see if they tasted better than they looked. When we got to our b&b to have dinner, after a few bites we had to unfortunately throw £5 worth of chips away and find somewhere else to get food.We are holiday makers visiting Cornwall and would just like to suggest that you change the oil and don't burn the chips.I am sorry to say that I will not be recommending this chippy to anyone.
