Good food and a good beer. Personally I found it all a little bit overwhelming but I was tired at the time. Cannot fault the food though and the staff were very helpful (and they were short staffed keep in mind).

Great food and service! Would highly recommend. The spicy meatballs were unreal 👌

Excellent food, we had the Sourdough pizza and Cajun pasta which was excellent. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, perfect place to have dinner after a long day of cycling/hiking around the country side.

I'd give it 3 and a half stars if I could. I've been to this restaurant several times over the last ten years. I've always found it cosy and delicious. However I went on the 30th December with a couple of friends and it wasn't up to scratch. The service staff were really lovely and kind. Me and my friend first shared a goats cheese bruschetta which was so delicious and obviously fresh. Then for mains I had a spinach and ricotta lasagne, which was milky in flavour, otherwise tasteless. The fries were fine, but a little over cooked. And the salad was nice, plain but nice. One of my friends got a Cajun chicken pasta which she asked for hot in spice, but it wasn't hot at all, barely medium. My other friend had a pizza, but that seemed to be perfect. For desert me and a friend shared a tiramisu, the cream was runny and the cakes/italian biscuits had not soaked long enough so they were crunchy. And the coffee was quite bitter. Lastly it cost the same price for a pint of beer on draft as it did for a pint of coke - ÂŁ5! Which I think is steep for coke. As I said the staff were lovely. But for the quality of food it was a little over priced, aside the bruschetta which was excellent. Having said that I'd probably go again at some point to see if they could do better. Because I have had great experiences there before.

We have been frequenting Peppers for many years and been very impressed until tonight, I can only think this establishment has changed hands, as tonight’s meal was one of the worst meals I have ever had. I don’t complain when I go out for meals and please don’t pull the COVID pandemic card.I would just like to pass on my experience dining at your restaurant, so you can turn it around, hopefully. We were speaking to a couple around the harbour tonight, to find they had the same type of experience dining in your restaurant tonight as us.We arrived at 17:15, 20th November 2021, we were seated at our table opposite to the bar, served promptly taking our order. I must add your staff, although friendly were having more of a social catchup rather than turning up to do a shift at Peppers, I didn’t need to hear about their social life, with four of them chatting at the bar. I would also like to add you probably need a dress code for your staff, I don’t particularly want to see someone serving food with slip on shoes, with no socks, slipping her feet out showing her bare feet whilst I’m eating my food. We ordered our starters, which arrived promptly, when my wife got into the middle of her starter she found a lump of frozen ice, the deep fried starter was clearly not cooked, or tested with a temperature probe before it was sent out. We immediately complained, the food was sent back, another was finally sent out, I had finished my starter and had to wait 15 minutes for my wife to finish her starter. Then the main meals arrived, I had the prawn Linguine, the Linguine was under cooked, the sauce just tasted of vinegar, there is absolutely no way this dish was tasted by your chief before the dish was sent out, it was totally inedible, I have never tasted something so bad. We called a member of staff over to explain, she offered to get another one, but we had enough by then and said we weren’t going to pay for that, and that we weren’t impressed by the food, when we had eaten here on a few occasions and really enjoyed the food. I went to the local chip shop after I left the restaurant.I hope to hear from you with a response, I hope you can learn from this experience, I see your Google reviews are beginning to slip with similar experiences. I don’t want to leave you a bad review or take this matter to the next level, just a response how you see my experience. I do have photos of the poor quality food, and was shocked to find on the bill one lemonade at £5.00 and one coke priced at £5.00, a total of £10.00 for two soft drinks, which was a shock.

Amazing little place, fantastic service and beautiful food. Definitely recommend!!

We love eating out at Peppers every time we visit St Ives. It is totally worth booking a table as it is constantly booked up & constantly turns people away that haven't booked in advance. We love the simple but tasty starter's & adore the exceptional & authentic tasting Pasta dishes. Worth every penny.

Great food, lovely staff and great atmosphere. Would only say the pasta dish portion was a little small but tasty!

Oh man! REALLY good. The staff were lovely despite being closed to sit down meals. We went for the large Cardinale and chips with two pints. Took it to the quayside and it was great. Even the rain couldn’t ruin it (or the evil Seagulls eyeing every mouthful). I’d really recommend it!

Would not recommend this place actually and I would say that St Ives is getting a little big for it’s boots! The food here was okay but by no means worth the money and the minimal friendly attitude of the staff.Nothing worth really complaining about but I wouldn’t rush to come here again. The garlic bread - looks not toasted, it isn’t, just “garlic and cheese on bread”.
