Awesome pasties, I had a large steak Cornish pasty and it was rammed full of filling. We came across this place by accident while we were driving around the area and I'm glad we stopped. There is a seating area outside and a decent size free car park. They also do sweet pastries, which of course it would be rude not to try.

Best cornish pasties. We had veggie and cheese and onion. Hot crispy and flaky. Huge and yummy pasties. Would definitely recommend!

A long queue to access but not unexpected because its very popular and well known in the area and with tourists. Service is quick and efficient though and the pasties are very good, although a little over-peppered for my taste but that's personal preference. Customer parking is available but be warned it gets very busy in tourist season.

Insanely great pasties. Super value for money…so good we went twice in a week and brought a load home for the freezer. Packed full of fillings and flavour - the best!

Superb pasty. Many years ago we used to call here on our way to St Ives. Its been a long time 20 years or more perhaps as our taste changed to another pasty maker. Anyway today we broke with tradition and went for a standard Philps and very good it was too. Super volcano hot from the oven as a good pasty should be. It burnt my mouth with every delightful bite and I was sorry when the end was reached.Well done Philps. Takes a lot to match my favourite makers. And I think you are up there with the best of the best.

Best pasty you can get in cornwall! Absolutely love the steak and cheese one! You can also get the lovely Saffron buns from here too. Don't be put of by the big queue it does go quickly.

Really delicious pasties - I ordered the Vegan and Veggie one (veggie one had cheese). There was a long queue outside the day we went, that's how good they were. Even the standard one was larger than we expected, so I had some leftovers for the next day, which crisped up really well in the over, and was just as delicious. There were so many more cornish delights here that I'm keen to try - I'll definitely be back. :-)

Got to be the best Cornish Steak Pasty I've ever tried. I got the large one which is massive and I reckon good value. Still hot after a 6 or 7 mile drive. Well worth the 2 or 3 minute wait in the queue. Sorry no photo, I got stuck in as soon as I reached my destination

We had 2 pasties and a suashe roll for our daughter the food was really nice. The meat was juicy and the right amount of pepper. There was not gristle or fatty bits on the meat either. Our daughters sausage roll had lovely pastry it wasn't greasy in the slightest either. We had to wait about half an hour before we could eat them but that gave us time to go to Hayle beach and eat them with a lovely view.
