"Pinetum Gardens is a place of tranquility, peace and spectacular garden scenery. The largest modern garden created in Cornwall, and family owned, we offer an intimate experience with a personal touch rarely found in our busy world. Lovingly created over the past four decades, our idyllic 30-acre gardens are home to one of the largest plant collections in the county spread over ten individually themed garden rooms within a breath-taking landscape. We are also home to the unique 3 acre Winter Garden, the Oriental Garden and some of the county's most spectacular trees. We are as much a delight for garden lovers as we are a wonderful retreat for walkers, and a place for families to explore and have fun with nature.."

Wonderful gardens. We spent a couple of hours walking around, but will need to go back again to fully experience it all.

5* garden. 1* cafe. Been visiting this beautiful garden for years. First visit post-lockdown, disappointed to find the great little cafe has been turned into more holiday lets. The ‘cafe’ is now a couple of marquees in the courtyard with much reduced menu (soup fresh from the microwave). Lunch accompanied by laundry, cars squeezing past, and a large rat. Gardens wonderful, the now well-established winter garden is excellent.

One of the best gardens we have visited. Very peaceful. Particularly liked the Japanese garden. Lovely coffee and cake. Toilets very clean. Will definitely visit again

Superb garden which represents 40 years of sustained effort and intelligent growth. The secret is the balance of the traditional Cornish garden with winter heathers and the pinetum with separate statuary and individual miniature themed gardens. The catering facilities seem to be there but need beefing up for the coming Spring & Summer season.

Beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful staff - spent a wonderfully relaxing time exploring but would say it's a little pricey for a day ticket for the whole family just to wander through ....

·

Beautiful gardens. We visited the day after Storm Eunice, which had caused some damage, but were nonetheless welcomed and had a lovely two hours here.

I was thrilled when my partner booked a stay here at Pinetum Cottage gardens and looked up photos on the internet. We arrived early after a long drive and in need of a hot drink and a slice of cake. We were served by a young lady that was friendly and knowledgeable. I really wish I had asked her name because her service was commendable. We told the lady that we had arrived early who then arranged for us to be able to book in to our cottage as it was already for us.Our accommodation had all that we needed, was clean, had a comfortable bed and the views front and back were beautiful. After unpacking we walked around the gardens which were stunning and very well maintained. I took lots of photos and videos.Back at our cottage we sat and were pleasantly surprised to see chickens and a cockerel pecking at our door, a cute welcoming party. We ended up feeding them, they were delightful. This turned out to be a great base for a weekend that we will never forget.I booked for us to visit ‘The Lost Gardens of Heligan’ winter walk event that evening and we had already booked to visit ‘The Eden Project’ the next day.Thank you to everyone that works at Pinetum gardens and cottages, it really is an oasis that gave us an experience that we will never forget and will treasure.

Stayed in one of the cottages at Pinetum Gardens. Fantastic facilities, clean, beautifully done out and so peaceful. The gardens were beautiful especially the Japanese garden and Laura was so welcoming and friendly.

·

Short visit on a very quiet day at Pinetum Gardens. I have lived in Cornwall for most of my life but somehow have failed to visit this beautiful place. I will be back next year to spend a day there. Garden covering arround 38 acres which is family owned. Well worth a visit while in Cornwall

Beautiful gardens and a lovely walk. The only downside for me is the time food is available until. We hoped to grab a late lunch at 2:30pm and were told that lunch had stopped. A little disappointing however the cake was a delicious alternative.
