Piran Thai in Cornwall

The most amazing Thai food, and she did it just how I like it ,, recommended for lunch on the beach!

Really wanted this place to be good. The staff are so friendly but we where so unhappy with the food. Never had a pad thai so bad, no idea what happened. Was lacking in any real flavour, for some reason was so so sweet, it could honestly of been served as a pudding. Never had one like it and it lacked many of the ingredients you would expect. Shame, isn't a decent please in Perranporth for takeaway anywhere at the moment.

Lovely authentic homemade Thai food that were cooked by a lovely Thai lady. Highly recommend the Thai fish cakes and tom yum soup.

This place is brilliant. The staff are so amazingly helpful and kind. The food was authentic and delicious, so I can't recommend it enough. It is an absolute credit to Perranporth. I also noted all the ice cream flavors, so I will definitely be back to try some of those as well!

Excellent Thai takeaway. My favourite takeaway in the area.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but last nights dinner was beyond disappointing. We ordered the chicken pad Thai which is a standard dish… it was missing most ingredients and it had not been seasoned correctly giving the noodles a pale look and leaving leaving flavorless. The fried squid and the egg roles… way overpriced for what your offering. The squid was £6 and I think we got maybe 6 or 7 poorly battered pieces of squid and the egg roles…£5.50 for 6 miniature pieces of poorly seasoned tiny egg roles.It’s a shame because we really wanted to like this place and we were so excited about getting food here.

Excellent Food, a little pricey but excellent staff front of house and the kitchen was great. Made a great alternative to fish and chips, pizza or Kebab.Very unassuming shop, very easy to mistake it for an ice cream parlour.

We weren’t told when we ordered that there were no prawns, so had to order a second portion of squid when I got there to collect. Wait was much longer than we were told. Beef Masaman was delicious. Squid was awful, batter not fully cooked and squid was tough. Also VERY small portions of this dish for the price. Chicken with black pepper and garlic sauce was ok but a bit tough again. Very expensive at over £50 so you expect excellent food. On this occasion, the food was far from excellent.

The Thai lady ( the owner ) was very lovely and gave us warm welcome. I got only icecream at first which was handmade and then I ordered Pad Thai with prawns which was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. The prawns were very fresh and delicious. The Pad Thai noodle itself tasted very nice.Definitely recommended!!!!
