We ate in this authentic, no frills, modest restaurant Easter 2022. The place is a bit shabby, in keeping with Falmouth, Cornwall and Thailand. To the important bit. The food was very good. We had a bit of almost everything and it was great, very generous portions, hot, and tasty. If it were in St Ives, Rock, Mayfair, it would be packed ..we recommend it and suggest everyone supports this place. Ignore any ratings related to delivery, it is an irrelevance for fresh, authentic Thai food

Lovely food at a good price. Maybe needs a freshening up a bit decoration wise, but still good value.

Very pleasant evening whilst on a work trip, attentive but not intrusive service. We had prawn parcels, mixed platter and chicken massaman, all delicious. No Chang beer but Singha was a good replacement. Would definitely come again if in the area.

Always a favourite when on Falmouth. Too excited this time as several visits had to be cancelled due to restrictions, hence no pics. We always go for set menu A as it’s so delicious! Great value too. Staff are super friendly and service is quick. Will always be back.

Staff very friendly, sadly the food was unpleasant and bland, the beef massaman curry and red curry duck looked and tasted the same. Restaurant is lovely very cosy maybe I was just unlucky on this occasion!

Ordered a takeaway based on some positive online reviews....sadly very poor. If you've been to Thailand or had authentic Thai food you know this is unrecognisable. The Pad Thai was bland, another dish was more Chinese than Thai and the Green Curry was basically chicken and veg in green coloured milk...tasteless! Really disappointed and won't be ordering again!

Amazing friendly service, greeted and seated promptly even though we didn’t have a booking.Good prawn crackers and decent veggie platter to start. My massaman curry was delicious! My partner had the prawn and squid pad Thai which was very enjoyable.Dessert list was not appealing but we were too full anyway 👍

I once once ate there and had recently ordered a meal delivery to my house so here are my remarks. The food was absolutely fantastic, a bit spicy but amazing, can't complain about the taste. You can notify them if want your food to be less spicy. The below photos show a recent delivery I ordered. I was a bit disappointed as the food portions were a bit small. I ordered two dishes; rice and vegetables with tofu. When I received my delivery, I thought one food container was missing. I later realised that the containers were small. It'd be amazing if they could put the food in bigger containers. It was an unpleasant surprise to receive a noticeably small portion of steamed rice.

This place is extraordinarily good. Absurd that it doesn't have an even higher rating. Ordered a red curry with tofu dish, a Thai salad with prawns, and Pat Bai Grapow, a vegan stir fry with mixed veggies and tofu, with flavourful basil. Did all that with a bottle of Te Papa (a fabulous kiwi sauvignon).Every dish was a winner. In particular, the Pat Bai Grapow had a savoury sauce so delicious that my wife had to stop me from drinking from the dish.On top of that, the decorations are really quite something special. Surreal, even. Hand carved chairs, each one individual, fill the restaurant. We were even given hand-carved MENUS, if you can believe it.Wishing Ploy Thai the best of luck, and loads of success in the future.

Lovely Thai Restaurant with delicious flavours. My wife and I are vegetarians, so the vegan menu had a lot of great options for us to choose from. I highly recommend the Massaman Curry, it’s a little spicy but it’s definitely worth it. Staff are also polite. In terms of food preparation you do have to be a bit patient. Final thoughts are, the restaurant can do with a bit of a make over.
