Polgooth Inn in Cornwall

The food is just delicious and views fantastic. All sauces and combination of veg and spices created and amazing tasting experience. Kids enjoyed the food having a standard adult portion. Youngest daughter stated this was the best pizza she ever had. Highly recommended.

Managed to squeeze us in on good Friday for lunch, excellent atmosphere, food came out so quickly and was absolutely delicious. Very generous portions and excellent value. The dirty fries are incredible.

Staff were lovely and welcoming, the atmosphere was really nice, pub was cosy and traditional, allowed our dogs in as well, bit pricey but food was of fantastic quality, highly recommended if you are in the area

I made a reservation for this place last minute for my partners birthday and boy did I hit the jackpot. While on a short stay in the local area I was fortunate enough to find myself at the Polgooth Inn. The staff were all polite and friendly, the accommodation of our small puppy was amazing allowing us to bring her in even when she did bark the odd time no one minded. The food here was absolutely insane! Good portions, great value for money, tastes that will leave you wanting more but also leave you full due to such amazing portions. Cannot recommend enough.

Lovely cosy pub with a good varied menu, really tasty food, and dog friendly! Have had consistently good service too.

We were in the UK from the States visiting a Friend and he brought us to this Great Restaurant.The Food was Excellent, the Service top notch and the Ambiance and Decor was Very Nice. Plenty of History on display.The Menu had something for everyone. Our Food was prepared as ordered and was perfect. The portions were ample.Aside from the Great food the History and story of the location is reason enough to visit which dates back to 1647.So if you are in the area and Like Great Food and History give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

Food was delicious, huge portions and quick service. My SO booked it for my birthday, when we arrived they had set a table up in the corner by the open fire, with bunting and candles in my dessert - so thoughtful. The bill was very reasonable too, considering how much food/ drink we have. BEST of all, they allow doggos inside to join you for dinner. Can't wait to return one day! Thanks!

Lovely pub. Kept nice & warm in the winter with fireplaces, good drinks & food selection. Vegan friendly menu. Relaxing atmosphere. I'd go back for sure

Wonderful food in a lovely traditional old English pub. Atmosphere was great and staff really friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit but you do need to book if eating inside.
