Stunning location, great service, and used to do excellent cream teas. We've been here loads over the years, but yesterday's scones were over worked (chewy, claggy), the jam was tasteless, and there wasn't enough cream. This is simply too many faults in one go to let pass for somewhere that previously did so much better.

We had the most lovely food, the staff were great, and the views were breathtaking. The cherry on the cake with the staff who were so friendly and welcoming. I would have easily paid double, surprised it was so cheap. A must visit!

Such a cute cafe with a stunning view! We ordered scones, homemade doughnut, heavy bun and tea which were all delicious. Very helpful and friendly owner too 😊

We visited this place a couple of weeks ago after it was recommended by some friends and we were not disappointed. The weather was particularly kind that day so we were able to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy the view 😍 what a beautiful location this is, and the added bonus of a seal that kept popping their head up above the water throughout our lunch was amazing to see. The meal we had was lovely, great portion sizes and the recommendation from the waitress really enhanced our dining experience 😊 the warm fresh doughnut with cream (what we had actually came for 😂) did not disappoint. We’ll definitely be re-visiting when we travel down to Cornwall next.

I don’t really want to share my experience of this cafe in case everyone rushes there and there’s not room for us, but ….. it’s absolutely brilliant. We love it. Lucy is great and she and the staff do a really good job, with service being top notch. Friendly and efficient. Food is always great especially the breakfasts!! We’ve been going regularly since April and once we go home next week will look forward to when we come back to Cornwall next year and are able to go to the Polpeor again. Thank you all.

Great service here. We called this morning and asked if they could fit the 23 of us in as a family holiday. On the phone everyone so helpful. When we arrived we had best seats with view over the sea. All the food was lovely and all services great. Even provided a candle in the cream tea for my nephews 30th birthday. Thank you all so much. We are very greatful. Thanks Lou Stone and Family Bristol x

Such an amazing cafe/restaurant, shame it is so far away from where I live, otherwise would visit it regularly.- It has great view at the tip of the country.- Food was fresh, delicious and fish was from local neighbouring village (we had Madley of Local Fish and Fish Pie)- All staff was working so hard and professional, they (especially Josie?) were friendly and helpful with great food recommendations, even though it was a very busy time of day .- Food was delivered so quick.Highly recommended...

When in Cornwall, do it the Cornish way!Brilliant place for a proper fresh Cornish Cream Tea. Superb views out to sea and although its a novelty coming to the most southerly cafe, the food is quality and plentiful. 10 huge scones for 5 cream teas and a pot of tea to feed the cafe! Lovely outdoor seating area, polite and friendly staff. Understandably gets busy during peak hours so may have a wait to get a table but worth it!

Had a cream tea here and it was delicious. Got four scones with a large helping of jam and cream. Teapot filled with tea and got about six cups out of it but could have got a couple more! Service spot on, friendly staff and great location. Will be visiting again

One of our favourite cafes in Cornwall. Not only is the view amazing all the food on the extensive menu is fantastic. One of our favourites is the hot doughnut with jam and cream. Went too quickly to get a pic!
