I go to this hotel on Sunday afternoons,It a very nice place to sit, have a cream tea or afternoon tea, watch the sea and listen to the live music.Staff are always friendly and helpful. It's dog friendly too so that's could be a bonus for some.

Comfortable room, truly wonderful staff (all of them) and good food. We would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it. One minor comment is that the dining room furniture is a little 'functional' and didn't quite reflect the excellent food and service.

We had our wedding at the Polurrian on 19th February and we couldn’t have been happier with the hotel and everyone involved who made the whole weekend so special! Megan, the events and wedding coordinator was excellent from the initial consultation right through to the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble and she made it a stress-free, enjoyable experience to plan leading up to the day. We had a lot of guests traveling from across the country, but she made the booking process so easy and all of our guests where pleased with the hotel and its facilities once they arrived.Storm Eunice as was uninvited guest on the day, causing a power cut half way through the wedding breakfast, meaning the food was disrupted, there was no electricity or hot water and the evening food was no longer possible. Megan was so discreet in telling us and found solutions to all the problems for us with minimum disruption to our guests and the order of the day. Her and the waiting, bar and kitchen staff rallied round and made sure we still had the best day. We ended up with the most romantic, candlelit reception, and still had an evening buffet for all our guests. The staff were incredible and worked so hard to ensure we were happy with our day. The venue was sensational, and Megan made sure all the supplier were organized, taking the stress away from us on the day. I cannot recommend the hotel, Megan and every single member of staff at the Polurrian, who made us all feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. It wasn’t what we planned, but thanks to the resilience of the team at the Polurrian, it was one we will treasure for ever. If you are looking for a hotel who really cares about their guests, the Polurrian is for you. Thank you to everyone, we will certainly be back for our anniversary, but will definitely keep returning to such a special place.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful place. Staff were excellent, and very busy. Rooms were comfortable and food was good. A little too dog friendly for us, as they had access all area's.

Hotel is doing great deals at the moment. The sea-fronted rooms are wonderful, make sure you get one! Breakfast can get a little congested despite the requirement to book. Coves left and right, sea very accessible, coastal paths a real joy

Where do I start? This was one of our best stays anywhere in the UK easily and abroad. We arrived at the Polurrian over the weekend ahead of our check in time, and the reception staff were so friendly and helpful, they gave me my parking pass and told us where to explore i.e. the private beach which is absolutely beautiful.I have to commend the hospitality service at this hotel as they all went above and beyond and made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. From the reception staff, to the waiters, bar staff and cleaners, everyone working there was polite and always approaching us with a smile. Little touches made a huge difference, for example our stay included breakfast and dining. During dining, every night a ice chilled water bottle would be placed on our table which was really thoughtful.I had pizza leftover one night and the waiter asked if I wanted it to be boxed up which was a thoughtful gesture. I would highly recommend that you opt for the breakfast and dinner here, as the food tasted nice especially the fish and chips. The dining room is beautiful and the visitors were really friendly too which made our overall experience great. The staff and cleaners are always working tirelessly hard, the hotel was spotless and to a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. The pricing of the drinks at the bar was reasonable. We booked the sea view bedroom and the views are amazing and the room was beautifully decorated with all the amenities.Although we had the weather on our side during our stay, it was cold outside but the hotel and bedroom was always warm and heated. This was one of our best stays ever and felt like we were abroad, also the bar/sky room is absolutely stunning, we spent hours there undisturbed. We also tried the vegetarian afternoon tea, and it was delicious.Thank you to all the staff at the Polurrian, we will be coming back in future. 5/5

Really nice chilled hotel. Great for families with dogs. Separate room for children in garden suite to let the dog out made our weekend a very relaxing one. Friendly and very helpful staff. No charging for cars but they plugin through window. It's time they install a charging point. The beach is a stone throw away. Lovely stay. We'll be back.

We went for afternoon tea which was a Christmas present from or Daughter and Son in law. We had a table with the most wonderful view and our tea was lovely. Finger sandwiches and a lovely cream tea with warm scones and small cakes. The Hotel is elegant and the staff were friendly and attentive. A real treat and highly recommended.

I recommend this hotel because the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large nice and warm because it is January. Food is very good. A lot of different types of drinks at bar . The car parking is free. Disabled friendly. There isTwo rooms that you get away from what going on. A pool in one room. There is disabled toilets on the lower floors. We are going to come back in winter time because it is lot warmer than where live. The prices are very good as well. The staff made special night for my wife because it was are wedding anniversary and would like to say thank you.Thank you from Graham and Valerie fromWorcester..PPSTom And Tiggy the people the served at the table in my mind they are very helpfulAlso very polite, if you need anything that you could not have ie butter products like daughter could not have they sorted it outAnd wish they well . Thank you again.

Lovely views and really friendly staff. Often have live music which is an added touch. Drinks prices are pretty steep but I guess that's what you pay for a drink with a view!
