Porthleven Fish and Chip in Cornwall

Good fish and chips, great service. Recommended

£11 for a large cod which was dry tasteless and chewy.Add to that the batter was thin and soggy and the chips were rather scabby.I've been coming to Porthleven for a number of years and definitely won't be coming here again for my fish and chips.Unfortunately there aren't any other fish and chip shops in Porthleven so I guess they are able to get away with it!

Great fish and chips. Good sized portions too.

Used to be 2 other chippys in Porthleven better than this, they have no competition now and it shows, chewy cod and tasteless frozen chips cooked too fast, large portions but you'll probably chuck half of it like we did.

Nice pub and the beer garden is a great place to sit in the sun with a drink. Roast is delicious

Picked up some chips and peas for lunch. Really well cooked and the price wasn’t too bad. Very tasty. Watch out for the local seagulls, they’ll have your chips, your coat and your underpants before you even realise that they’re gone!

Traditional Fish and Chip shop ,close to the harbour. Plenty of seating around the harbour to sit and enjoy good quality food served by really friendly staff.

Good fish and chips, apparently the most southern fish and chips store in the UK! Friendly staff and very popular. Great covid security too.

Bizarre to turn up to a busy fish and chips shop at 7.00 p.m.on a Saturday night to be told they only had small cod or fish bites to offer. So ordered 3 small fish and 2 chips for the two of us. Waited outside with others for the order. The following customer got the last 2 small fishes and many others were left disappointed. Please to say the fish and chips we had were very good.
