Excellent service and good food. We had crab sandwiches home made soup and Cornish heavy cake. All excellent. Staff were very understanding of my daughter's eating disorder. Recommended.

Thought the takeaway crab sandwich was overpriced and small, but was really tasty! Maybe charge a bit less for takeaways as no crisps or anything served with it?

·

Very generous portions of delicious food. Friendly staff.

·

Had a bite to eat here after costal walk, food was good and reasonably priced no complaints.

·

Great service, very generous ice cream portions! Lovely!

Used to be a very nice place when I visited two years ago. Now they closed the room but charge the same price. We ordered just scones because there was no tables outside to drink tea but they still charged for tea as well. And they charged a little bit of extra on top of that, I don't know why - that wasn't on the menu. And the first thing you see when you enter the cafe now is a sign 'do not help yourself'. There is a much better and friendlier cafe at the chocolate factory up on the road, 10 min on foot.

Great little place right on the harbour at Mullion. V friendly staff offering a fantastic selection of cakes, cold drinks, pasties, toasties, and ice creams.Park about 400m up the road at the "official" car park (£3 all day) or the (slightly closer) car park that only requires a £1 "Honesty Box" donation, then walk down to the harbour itself. There's a wonderful beach that's only exposed around low tide and is reached via a short passageway through the foot of the cliff. When the tide is high enough, you will see tonnes of people leaping into the sea from the harbour wall.In short, the café (even in pandemic times) is marvelous, and the whole place is magical.

Great tearoom right on the harbour, we had a lovely cream tea. It is dog friendly and the staff were friendly and welcoming there was a great atmosphere in the place. It we would be a great rest stop for any body walking the coastal path.

Stumbled across this cute little cafe. Stopped for tea and cake, they did a gluten and dairy free banana cake which was amazing - im not normally a fan of banana cake but with my strict dietary requirements I can’t be fussy - it was one of the nicest cakes I’ve ever had.The staff were really friendly and the place had a very homely feel to it. Will certainly be back and can strongly recommend it. Thank you! Naomi

*Tea by the sea*Porthmellin Cafe is exactly the sort of local experience most individual travellers might look for. Situated in a small community, you'll even find some locals at the tables! The setting couldn't be cozier with checked tablecloth, sea-themed pilows and the fisherboats in the harbour just outside the window. The staff is very friendly and the menu offers small meals and cake. We had an excellent chocolate cake and a fantastic crab sandwich with our tea.Don't be put off by the unstylish look of the front - inside awaits a lovely experience.
