This place is pricey, but worth every single penny. Easily the best place to eat in St Ives, food is divine, something for everyone. Service is also excellent. They forgot my husbands drink (we didn’t mind) and when they remembered they gave it to us on the house. Nice touch! Fantastic experience and we will always visit when in St Ives. You must book!

First time in St Ives and this was the first place I popped into, it was just calling to me with those views.Only popped in for a morning coffee so had an oat latte and soaked in the views. Staff are incredibly friendly and despite already being quite busy we’re very efficient. Will pop in here again on my next visit to St Ives!!

Fabulous staff and stunning views. I didn’t know what to expect, but the food was refined and of a high standard - it was amazing. This was a perfect start to our weekend away. We will definitely be back!

One of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. My partner and I had the pork belly starter which somehow was incredibly crispy and melted in your mouth at the same time. For mains we ordered a monkfish curry and pan fried hake, both were so exceptional we had to share and experience them together. The staff were absolutely lovely and it wasn't expensive, especially compared to other local places which were priced similarly but weren't nearly as good. In the most stunning of locations too.

Fantastic food 10/10. Great wine selection. Divine desserts paired with dessert wines. A must go when in St Ives. Best restaurant in St Ives in my opinion. Only let down is that the chairs aren’t very comfortable and the toilets could do with an upgrade. Amazing staff, location, views, food and wine. Must go.

Fantastic meal experience, perfect location in front of the beach, food is in high quality and plenty of wine selection.

Fantastic location, with a beautiful view, the staff all seem really lovely.A lot of seafood sold here not that much on the menu if you don’t like seafood. I had a steak sandwich, it was okay nothing that special, the food is quite expensive for what it is, the sandwich was £17-£20 and it wasn’t a massive thing on steak either.chips were beautiful tho!

Facing the beach with pristine sand, it's a cafe with a very relaxing view specially during summer. They've got wide selection of food and drinks, prices are alright, ambience is great and perfect for families, not to mention clean and free toilets! It's just two minutes walk from St Ives station. Love it!

This place is an absolute must for staying staying in the area. We were incredibly well looked after from start to finish and you simply cannot beat the views overlooking Porthminster beach. One of the best seafood meals we have ever eaten (and we’ve had a lot). Will be back

We are giving it a 2-star because our servers were very nice, the food was very decent for a beach cafe and they've got a beautiful view of the beach from the restaurant. However, the attitude and service from the host was beyond undesirable. If i wasn't starving, I would've left without having to meet the lovely wait staff who were polar opposite of the host. Here's what's gone wrong with the host:1. Upon entrance, he was no where to be found. Ourselves along with 3 other tables waited outside by the door for at least 10 minutes before he leisurely strolled up from the slope, and instead of apologizing for the waiting time, he ordered us to stand behind the ropes so he could sort out the mess of a line the he singlehandedly created. (that was in no way a one-time incident. during the time of our supper, there was constantly a line at the door just because the host was no where to be found)2. The host never gave us an option to be seated inside or out. He pointed us directly to an inside table. I checked my reservation and went back to reception to ask if it's possible to have a different table. he said outside table were first-come-first serve. (outside tables were mostly empty during the time). instead of assigning us a new table. he made us wait for another 5 min so he could cater to other customers. again, no apologies was made.3. The host was frequently sweeping sand off the pavement right outside of the entrance of the restaurant. It's a bit off putting for visiting patrons and unwelcoming.I wasn't expecting four season quality service at a beach cafe and it's quite rare to encounter such inefficiency and inhospitality from a host of restaurant.
