Porthminster Kitchen in Cornwall

Probably the best meal we had in St.Ives. Very nice terrace seating overlooking the harbour. We had seafood linguine and Sunday Roast (Roast beef). The pasta was cooked to the point and the seafood was very tasty. The Sunday Roast was served with loads of tasty vegetables. The white wine by the glass (Picpoul De Pinet ) was very good. The place is dog friendly.

Absolutely amazing food, fantastic friendly service and stunning views - what more could you ask for. We walked up on the off chance we could get a table and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We shared a crispy squid which was delicious. We both had the seafood linguine, which was absolutely incredible. Very tasty, lots of seafood and piping hot! Beautiful views looking out at the sea from the centre of St Ives - perfect! Thank you. Highly recommended! We will be back next time.

Fantastic service. Delicious food. Amazing ambiance. Visited this wonderful spot on a glorious day in Cornwall for my friends birthday. Highly recommended with a fantastic view of the harbour at sunset. The seafood curry, the pork scallop and the friendly waitstaff were amongst our highlights.

We popped down to St. Ives from across the Tamar for a few days staycation. What a beautiful location even in the midst of winter storms.The service and food here was wonderful, a lovely romantic setting overlooking the harbour.

Delightful lunch. My husband has the whole sole and I had the open face steak sandwich. His starter - pork with scallops and bacon - is "one of the best things" he's ever had! I enjoyed the luscious butternut bisque.

Best meal we had in St Ives. The scallop with the pork and the sauce is perfect, good combination between flavours and texture. The mussels are huge and fresh, my partner loved it. The linguine full of flavours, portion is a bit small, but that’s okay saves us some room for desert. Chocolate brownie is too rich for me but if you love chocolate definitely go for it. The Strawberry and pistachio parfait, very refreshing , a perfect ending for our dinner. On top of everything, great customer service as well. We’ll definitely come back for more before we leave St Ives.

A lovely setting for lunch over looking Porthminster. Food was fresh and tasty and staff friendly and helpful. We were lucky to get a table on the balcony and and it was a warm sunny day which made it all the more enjoyable. Would recommend booking.

Fabulous food and excellent service. Gorgeous views over the harbour. Small place (it seemed) with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was all local and fresh and was absolutely delicious. Would love to go back. Make sure you book ahead of time!

Beautiful views, excellent service and wonderful food and drink. We had the oysters, mackerel pate and squid with citrus and miso sauce to start. All incredibly fresh and flavourful. The mussels with garlic bread and seafood linguine were our mains. Both delicious and would have again! Would recommend the Porthminster Point cocktail.
