delicious food but had to wait one and a half hours for it! we had our coats on ready to leave. we had asked so many times where our food was.i was getting really annoyed as they gave priority to take outs rather than diners in the restaurant…which is a big no no!!!!when food eventually arrived it was lovely. the meat just melted in your mouth.i had the tandoori mixed grill… delicious! my daughter had the lamb dhansak and the lamb was so tender.you can take your own booze too…good job! haahaa

Very good main meals I didn't give 5 starts as there is no bar although you can bring your own drinks and the starter came in paper pots and with plastic cutlery be warned one chilli rating on the menu is very hot indeed

It’s a BANGLADESHI restaurant rather than INDIAN restaurant so don’t expect the usual Indian flavours.I won’t mind if they would have said Bangladeshi restaurant rather than Indian as it’s completely misleading to customers.I would rather prefer something English or if you are craving for Indian food worth getting something from Co-op or Tesco.Definitely not coming back.

I don't usually give low reviews. HOWEVER, this restaurant has failed to meet expectations of a normal Indian restaurant in many ways. The food may look appealing, but is of low standard and taste in comparison to other Indian restaurants around the UK. We did mention the poor taste to the manager and he came up with poor excuses as to why the food taste was bland. We were re embursed with a free Naan. But I believe a review must be truthful. There are only a handful of Indian restaurants in the entirety of Cornwall and so the restaurant has little to no competition with other Indian establishments and claims it is one of the 'best' in the local area. But thats because it is one of the only Indian restaurants in the entire area!😅😅🤔😂This isolation is a huge cause for its weakness and many locals may have never tasted authentic Indian food, which may make them overvalue this business. In comparison to other Indian restaurants in the UK it is of poor standard. The pricing is reasonably expensive and not really worth the money. If you are looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, avoid this restaurant and look elsewhere, because as you would expect Cornwall isn't the place for great curry!If you ever want a good review of a place look at the names of the people reviewing. As you can see mostly Indian names on this (experts in Indian cuisine as we eat it everyday) have given negative reviews. So you know they are truthful. Additionally the owners replies to the reviews have mostly been in denial.🤔🤔😑 pretty shocking.

We had a wonderful meal last night thank you. I highly recommend you to anybody looking for a good restaurant and the exemplary service by the lady Anne/Anna? I think her name was.. was superb. She's a real credit to you. Thanks again A++++

Very good meal this evening, the food was really tasty and well presented.Vegetarians are well catered for here but my only gripe is the Sag Panner dish is described on the menu as being made with cheddar cheese rather than the traditional Panner cheese 😞 this is clearly marked on the menu but dropping a star for the substitution of a traditional ingredient that works really well in curry verses cheddar cheese that really doesn't work well at all, but hopefully this will change in the future 🤞All in all nice tasty meal, and recommended.

To be honest i did laugh after, when i saw they displayed The best indian in Cornwall on their menu, omg on arrival the managers face was shocking and tried to refuse our 6 person booking from a month ago, from start to finish the service was SHOCKING ... the food was basic indian food,nothing special. prawn on puree tasteless .. to be honest DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY .. overall SHOCKING

Main meal food good but service is shocking with staff serving u and talking to other staff. No alcohol u have to bring ur own. No deserts or coffee offered, so basically have a main meal and get out as soon as possible. Not recommended. Might b best as a takeaway but nothing else

Amazing and delicious Indian food. One of the best I have tasted so far. Prices were quite reasonable and portions generous. Service was very good, with waitresses making sure we were being attended to from start to finish. To top it all, the restaurant is located in one of my favourite towns of Cornwall. Highly recommended!! 5*

First off, yes it's BYO booze with about £1.50 corkage so very reasonable and it works well. The staff are friendly and the kitchen is fast. The menu is simple with the usual favourites and a few specials and the food is really nicely-cooked and good quality. The meat is tender and fresh and the rice and naans are very good. The food seems to have had care taken in preparation. Not greasy or tasting like they've been reheated out of a tub...if you've had bad curry you'll know what I mean. It's not a place that makes you feel like you've had a hugely indulgent meal but it's clean and well enough laid out. Definitely a good place to get a really tasty meal in a friendly atmosphere.
