I got to say I have never had a poor meal here, the food and friendly quick service has never let me down. Plus even when busy theres always somewhere to sit all different times of the day. And prices not so scary as near by pub meals.

Great staff at this "spoons" establishment. Always a good calm place to enjoy your food on your own or in the company of your friends and children.

Amazing fast service and it is a listed safe place

Another JDW pub to cross off my list. I Was on an early start so it was just breakfast and coffee. Up to scratch Wetherspoon pub and a nice breakfast.

It's a 'Spoons! You can't go wrong. Oddly for me, I went for the veggy option of jacket potato and 3 bean chilli. Nice. Probably a kick back from all the pasties I eat down there. Massive pub, loads of seating and very friendly staff. Oh, and the beer is cheap.

Although I don't usually write reviews, following two rather unpleasant trips to this establishment in recent months, I felt an unusual urge to share my experience.Unfortunately on two separate occasions now I have experienced rude and incompetent staff who are seemingly stealing money by way of taking payments for food and drink that they are not then providing (i'm guessing with less cash around, this is another way to short change customers).I have had drinks failed to be brought with the excuse 'tickets keep being put on top of yours, it's not my fault, and there's nothing I can do.' So following an hour of waiting for drinks we left!On another occasion we paid for extras with a meal which didn't turn up, and when we asked were told 'we hadn't ordered any', followed by 'well it wasn't on your ticket, so its tuff'. When we then asked to see the ticket as the money had been taken at the bar, the staff member point blank refused to show it (which to me is simply theft).Needless to say that as a local I will definitely be staying well clear of this place in the future!

Great service, had large mixed grill but the meat portions are very small and the lamb full of sinews. Come on wetherspoons this is usually lots better

The staff were friendly, unfortunately the salad I received with my meal was brown around the edges. I wasn't impressed by that hence missing a star. The main part of the meal was enjoyable and quite tasty (vegetable lasagna). On the whole it was a busy, pleasant locals bar.

Pretty Good. Lots of seating. It's a Wetherspoons so great value. Couldn't fault it.

Kind staff, advised everyone who entered the venue about how to use the test and trace app, or to file the sheets. Felt very safe in the interior seating and exterior seating. Only thing was I saw our drinks on a tray by the bar that were left alone for 5 minutes and it made my mouth fill with saliva as it was a hot day and I fancied cocktail. But everything else was perfect! :)
