The best gluten-free fish and chips we’ve ever tasted. It is slightly more expensive than an every day fish and chip restaurant, but the quality of the lovely fish is well worth it and the sustainability credentials are really important to us too. Also the staff were so very welcoming, helpful, friendly and professional, which helped make it a very pleasant visit.I thoroughly recommend and will be returning to the restaurant.

Any local chippy would beat this I'm afraid to say. Please don't waste your money here.Food is ... well just the same as any chip shop but twice the price! The service was all abit much. You order what you want at the front desk then get given an alarm like device which notifies you when your food is ready for collection so you can go off and enjoy the stunning views and come back when it rings.A nice thought in principle but I just want a portion of chips so is it really necessary? I want to take my chips down to the beach and look at the stunning views whilst munching away.Salt and pepper and vinegar come in sachets which isn't very eco friendly and doesn't really give the high end appeal that the restaurant is trying to portray. There seemed quite a lot of confusion and wrong orders flying around maybe the restaurant is still learning and in its early stages I'm not sure.Without being all doom and gloom the chips we had were ok, and the food I saw, although small portions, looked nice too👍. But Just for the price I wouldnt go back.

Waited 40 minutes for a table, then when our table was meant to be available we received a notification that we would need to wait another 40 minutes. It turned out the queue system was being disregarded by staff. We witnessed people walking into the restaurant and being seated immediately, even though we had been waiting all that time.Staff were completely unapologetic and told us that's just the way it is. We saw other diners going through the same experience. To make matters worse, my partner was sick in the evening. All she ate that day was the fish and chips from the restaurant. On the positive side, our server was pleasant, attentive and clearly hard working. However overall this place is a bad mark on Fistral beach. I wish I had read the reviews first.

Very disappointed, with such a brilliant location, the food and service did not match AT ALL. We selected from the Asian kitchen, and DO NOT RECOMMEND. The food was definitely NOT cooked at restaurant, it must have been warmed up in microwave, it came in a take away container which really is a kick in the teeth. Absolutely disgusted I will never return again. In order to keep customers happy, I suggest big improvements to be made. Starting off by actually cooking on site at the restaurant, making dishes more tastier and hot instead of it turning up in a container and cold. Very very disappointed

Good location and very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely chips but we found the onion rings extremely greasy and tasteless I wasn't a huge fan of the curry sauce either as it wasn't anywhere as punchy as I would have thought it would have been. I had the halloumi burger which was good and my partner enjoyed the lemon sole which there was a healthy portion of. They are also dog friendly which was great for us to be able to enjoy a meal while our pooch rested on the floor.

The quality of the food was stunning - no other word for it - and the location is just phenomenal. I agree with other reviews that the price is a bit eye watering, but the fact I can still give five stars and not four says something as to just how good the quality (fish all perfect, batter crisp not oily, chips not at all greasy) is. I would certainly welcome the price becoming more competitive, but who wouldn't? Thoroughly recommend.

This restaurant was all very average. Granted, the service was good, but the food itself and the value for money were both rather average.Entering the restaurant, we were seated and told to order through the app, which I found a little odd. Further frustrating was the need to pay upfront with the app and to decide on a gratuity for staff before interacting with anybody or even trying the food. Two of us each ordered a piece of cod (the fish alone priced at £9.45) and we shared a large portion of chips at £4.50. The fish was of average size and the chips were adequate for two - although not a typical ‘fish and chip shop’ style chip. For what was a rather ordinary restaurant, I was disappointed to see that accompaniments other than ketchup were charged at £1.75 each! Had we have paid just a few pounds each, I’d not have objected to paying for every extra, but these were far from budget fish and chips, so to be charged for a spoonful of mayonnaise felt like extortion. No doubt having Rick Stein’s name above the door justifies the high price tag here, but seriously, meals here cost a good 50% more than they are worth.

Food was nice . Lovely views of the beach ect . Very easy to order on the app quick service overall good experience here only downfall is how expensive it is £52 for 3 meals and 2 drinks .

When this place first opened it was outstanding. There were a number of breakfast choices and some great tastes from around the world. Rick you need to know that things have gone down hill and quality control is sadly lacking. Our takeaway was £50 and some of it inedible. Fish bites pictured and one of the onion rings or should I say bulbs. It’s got your name on it, but it’s not the quality you give us on the TV. I won’t be visiting again.

This restaurant is all about the location with fantastic views overlooking the entire fistral beach and plenty of outdoor spaces and dog friendly! This however this the maximum extent of the benefits. Since we ordered on the app service was relatively quick but it was difficult to get waiters attention since they were clearly running around try to serve multiple tables at once. The food was distinctly average especially in comparison to the other places we had sampled in the area! The main thing was the lack of hygiene especially in a post COVID era I noted that many of the staff failing to wear masks whist serving customers, a distinct lack of sanitiser for hands but also no clearing /cleaning of tables in between customers.
