Rockout in Cornwall

Just called in for a drink but will return to eat while in the area. Food looked good. Food only served until 3.30pm. Very friendly & obliging staff.

We had a great evening at the Rock Inn. Beautiful views of Padstow and the camel estuary. Great, friendly staff and fab food. My husband loved the shell fish pasta dish and the fish pie was as good as ever! Nice wine, great atmosphere. Thankyou

The Rock Inn served a wonderful meal when we were on holiday 3 weeks ago. Before entering there was a board apologising that due to staff shortage service may be a little slower. The staff that were there worked efficiently, were polite even though the manners of some of the diners left lot to be desired. I felt the need at apologise on behalf the rude diners as your staff truly did not deserve to be treated in such a way. Personally I think you should be very proud of them.Pam Thomas

Food was good but the quality of customer service was appalling. The shift manager was one of the most impolite staff I have ever dealt with. Such member of staff should not be working in hospitality, where one of the most important skills to have is customer service. Very unfortunate for such a lovely place.

Best views in Rock from the balcony. Local beers and good traditional lunches and brunches. We come here every time we're in Cornwall.

Had a lovely meal here just after it had re-opened after the Coronavirus lockdown. The wife had a vegetarian Thai curry, which she said was really good. I had the Chicken pie - a puff pastry top with a good amount of large chunks of chicken in a great sauce - I think it was chicken and leek. The vegetables that were served with it were really well cooked and fresh. The chips were really good too. The other guys had scampi and chicken burgers - all of which looked really nice. I had a pint of Cornish pale ale which was very refreshing. Staff wore masks and screens had been fitted between tables, so they had obviously done some good prep work to make the place safer. All mains were about £14-£16 unless you were going for steak, etc. Highly recommend the place.

Fabulous meal at The Rock Inn. Lovely atmosphere and the little blonde waitress was so lovely and happy to help. Cant wait to return.
