Ace Italian food as you would expect from Paul Ainsworth. Dog friendly in the cube (also probs the cube is the best place to sit)

Super helpful staff, dog friendly and amazing food. One of best pizzas I've ever had.

We had a lovely meal here on our first night away, first time visitors. The restaurant is beautiful, with wonderfully attentive staff members. Everyone that we dealt with was friendly and polite. The food was delicious, we had a burger and pizza, with the special seaweed chips. All was super tasty and the ice cream is phenomenal. We had a couple of requests, not on the menu, and both were actioned with no problems or complaints at all.We will definitely visit again.

It's been a few years since our last lucky visit. The aranchini balls were the lasting memory (not forgetting the first class service). Having a couple of days in north Cornwall and needing a treat, we simply booked a table online the day before. We decided to take a trip on the super reliable ferry service from Rock rather than driving, it kind of adds to the experience. Do check the tide times as low tide can mean a walk on the beach. This is both a pleasure in dry weather and suitable foot wear, but a set of heals and new hair in the rain could end in a heated debate.... (I have been known to plan badly🤔😜).After a very pleasurable (COVID safe) trip on the ferry and a fun filled short walk across the beach on both sides we arrived in Padstow. A warren of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs presents it's self almost chaotically around a tranquil enclosed harbor. After a short stroll around we popped in to rojanos a little early (before anyone got the taste for shopping before lunch). We were greeted with a warm welcome and accepted into the familiar stylish establishment. The staff are attentive passionate and part of the whole experience. The menu is simple but one dish had been chosen pre arrival and did not disappoint. The pizzas are very special but we decided on a few starters and see how it goes. Drinks obviously also a treat in themselves. I had a pint of offshore pilsner (very moorish but not today). Joined by a bellini and a jug of water. Now the choices were perfect and we had a selection of four. Simply put ribs, ragu on baked potato, Crockett's and of course aranchini balls. All followed by a Manhattan (I skipped pudding as I'm on a diet 🤣) and an affogato (reported by the consumer as....., J Clarkson would say 'crisis' inducing). So pizza obviously not required. I still think we could have managed it...I have left the description of the dishes as I think you should go and try them... It's hard to describe such individual little pleasures in a few words. To conclude another lucky visit to a venue that produces both food and service that are constantly outstanding. Thank you for the experience and hope to be back soon.

Absolutely #Epic and a great menu philosophy giving lots of choices between small and larger plates to mix n match depending upon preferences and favourites. Great friendly service as ever from Paul’s teams 😎👍👏👏👏😋😋😋

I originally wanted to dine at Paul Ainsworth's Michelin star restaurant No. 6, but as vegans are not catered for, second choice was the vegan menu at Caffe Rojano. The vegan menu is small, safe and rather boring if I am being honest and sorbet as a dessert is a cop out, takes me back decades when it was the only option, alongside fruit salad and I expect much more in 2021.Unfortunately vegan wines were not labelled on the wine list, maybe they think vegans do not drink, so I did some quick research and found many were vegan so its not exactly hard to find this information. The menu is heavily reliant on bread and wheat, so we shared a mushroom bruschetta and olives to start, which were delicious. The mushroom bruschetta was one of the best ever, absolutely scrumptious and in hindsight I would have had a large portion of this as a main course. The menu described the pizza as Napoletana style, but it was a far cry from Neapolitan pizza I have eaten in Naples. The base was slightly tough and shiny, I thought it had been brushed with oil and went harder as the pizza cooled and daft as it sounds had too much tomato sauce and topping on, in this case less is more. The pizza also lacked salt and this comes from someone who does not use much salt in my cooking.I was disappointed with our visit, although service was excellent from front of house, but the mushroom bruschetta was the star dish, I could have eaten tons of it.Would I go back, maybe if they improved the vegan options, added some lighter non bread dishes and ditched the apple sorbet. However this is Padstow they have a captive audience apparent by how many people queued up and were turned away at the front door.

WOW, we hadn't booked but Simon got us a table and nothing was too much trouble from then onwards. Ellie was just fantastic with her helpfulness and knowledge of the menu to help me decide. The food was just outstanding, my wife's pizza, my cornish pork chop and hispi was just perfect! Then desserts that left you wanting more.A really awesome place to eat, great food, served by brilliant people!!

Very disappointing - prices up, service and food a big let down and we have been coming here for years. They have really increased their prices - £19 for a burger, £18 for a mushroom pizza. That would be fine if the food matched the prices - it did not.You have to queue by the door to see if they have any tables - the entire outside area was empty and we waited a good 10 minutes until someone came to the front desk. She took us out or the table and we asked if we could go to the shaded table as we had a dog. “No that’s not been cleaned and if you want to sit there I will have to get it cleaned and you will have to go back to reception” - really to wipe a table? All the tables had been cleaned as we saw that while we waited. The food was really really bad - we both had vegan pizzas and these were basically pizza dough with loads of salt and tomato purée with some very dried veg on top - see photo. The waitress who brought it was very off hand - oh I don’t know what this is - no cheese must be vegan was her response. The other waitress on the floor however was really good, professional and attentive.Anyway overall overpriced and bad food - taking advantage of their location and lack of competition

Amazing food and great staff.I came today for my birthday meal and I must say I wasn't disappointed.Everything was simply amazing.Thank you again for making my birthday so special.

We visited No 6 a couple of days before and were blown away, sadly this experience was disappointing. The venue is lovely, the service and ambience great, what let things down was the food. Over priced and mediocre at best it wasn’t worth delaying our trip back to London to experience this place.
