One to give a miss. Go to the Nisa just up the road on the holiday park. Far less grief!

Delicious pasty and good range of fruit, veg and essentials - bit pricey but it is a village shop. Coffee and pies looked good. Woman not rude for us, maybe just caught at bad times, has been a stressful period perhaps. Covid rules for shop on display outside so happy to comply

Appalling staff. On entering the shop - already exempt from masks when they were mandated, I was accosted by two staff members shouting that I couldn’t go in without a mask. One came rushing towards me shouting get out of the shop now. Go outside. Horrible horrible people. My husband was ill in the car with low blood sugar and we had been caught out. We were sent on our way and had to get ourselves to Penzance. Nasty people.

Lovely little shop that had everything we could need for our stay in Cadgwith. Staff was really friendly and gave us lots of great recommendations of things to do and eat in the area. We were also glad to see they are keeping their community and guests safe by asking people to wear masks. Thanks so much for all your help 😊

Visited this shop, to get supply's for our camping trip, which we walked to as it was closer to our campsite. However we did not expect such a rude welcome from the owner/staff. Walked literally in the door and heard "put your face mask on". But I'm exempt from wearing one, I tried to explain why I can't wear one, which I didn't need to do. But she still insisted that no mask you can't come in. As for customer service there wasn't any! No compassion or kindness. There could be other ways to help people but that would take her wanting to care. Going by other people's review it seems she either doesn't like visitors or just doesn't like people.

visited today to stock up and thought i would support local shops. approached wearing my mask step into the shop and got shouted out by lady behind the counter. "get out there are 3 already in here" a nice gentleman that was in the shop said he was going so i was able to enter. As i was shouted at i only decided to buy milk."You cant use your card just for milk you have to spend £5".Not to day love not when you speak to your customers like you do.Reading the reviews it appears to be a regular a occurrence.Avoid.....go to the farm shopTreleague Dairy. There lovely.

I love meeting new people and going to new places. But today I can honestly say I’ve met the rudest woman I’ve ever come across working in this otherwise lovely shop. Sadly it’s not a one-off as she was just as rude in August when we were last here. Such a shame.

Rating changed from 5*, last visit Aug 2021.A handy grocery shop open til 7 mon-sat & suns in the am. That's the good news, now the bad..A so-so selection of produce & drinks (not exactly cheap). Have stopped the fresh made Italian-style pizzas & pasties are gone well before 11am usually.Comments elsewhere about rudeness are fair & accurate also from experience.I forgot my facemask a week *after* they stopped being compulsory & the woman immediately ran from behind the counter screaming "No mask, get out!", before I got through the door to say I'm fully vaccinated, nevermind ask her (politely) to buy one of their overpriced ones before coming in!If you're going to be like that maybe have facemasks on sale outside with postcards or at the door NOT tucked out of sight at the back - just a thought..)And it's one thing overcharging for drinks, fruit&veg, stamps & phone chargers etc but you should be utterly ashamed at the price of your facemasks & hand sanitiser. Finally don't even bother getting any carrier bags - the thinnest ever, totally useless & tearing carrying 1L of milk & a carton of OJ for under 5 mins. At 10p(!!) each you'd expect better..

We call in here on many occasions while down holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shop is extremely well stocked for such a little village store with a mix of fresh and frozen produce. They also sell the best cornish pasties which I believe are home made locally by a lady across the road.

Dreadful experience this morning. I was told (not asked) to wear a mask in a very Rude and unwelcoming way. I am very happy to wear a mask and keep people as safe as possible but why can’t you be courteous! You gave the impression that tourists are just not welcome. I shall not use your store again and have just ordered a supermarket delivery. This is a shame as my preference would be to support independent businesses. Any long term Negative effect of Covid 19 on your business Is likely to be as a result of your rudeness to visitors. This experience is in contrast to the fantastic service we have received elsewhere in Cornwall. perhaps you should have a sign outside your store saying ‘for locals only!’.
