Gorgeous little restaurant on the beach front with friendly staff and scrumptious food.Book in advance 😁My husband and I had the sharing starter which was really yummy. Our girls had the tempura whole shelled crab which they absolutely loved.For mains, we all had different mussel dishes which were all super tasty and the portion size was ample. Our youngest had the mussels and frites from the kids menu, which was also a great size portion and she loved hers too.It was a great end to our holiday 😍

Book ahead but you won't be disappointed. Superb bouillabaisse.

I took my wife here today for a special treat. The first time we've been here for ages, nice to see that the place hasn't changed too much! Still a warm friendly atmosphere and fantastic food.We both had the surf and turf, cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks I've ever had!Nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff who remained polite and friendly.Well worth a visit by locals and holiday makers alike. In a nutshell, Great food, great service, great views! 👍

Great place, right on the beach at Polkerris, good attentive service and tasty food. You'll have to book especially in holiday time. You can eat and drink outside if it's warm enough but can't book the outside tables. Give it a try you've got nothing to lose.

We were a big group the staff that served us were kind and friendly. Food was delicious. Place is in a amazing location. You get the opportunity to eat good fresh seafood and observe beautiful sunset drink a cold beer. Sam's is a converted from lifeboat house interesting history which is explained on the walls. Staff also have some stories too. Good atmosphere well come again. Staff were really understanding with kids made to feel welcome. Good portions delicious...good selection of beers and wine. Great place for a group to meet or a couple.

Always a delight to dine here. Never disappointed with food or service. Love every branch for its unique menu. Great way to save an old life boat house! Super friendly team, great atmosphere, excellent destination for an occasion to celebrate. Advisable to book as its small and can fill in very quickly. Good views of the beach, and across the water, very atmospheric in winter. Best to park 8n the public car park up the lane before you reach the front.

Fantastic food, great service, highly recommend for anyone who loves seafood! If you don't there's always great pizza (my husband loves his!)

What could be better after a long day playing on the beach and splashing in the surf, than relaxing in comfort with a freshly baked pizza and a glass of something fizzy.Sam's on the Beach delivers absolutely everything you could possibly want. The striking beach views are enhanced by the delicious food and exceptional staff.

We stumbled across this place having never heard of it before. During Covid19, most places were fully booked or closed or the massive crowds were a put off.Pros;1. It is literally located on the beach, if you are dining outdoors, prepare to be standing on the sand.2. Great views. Watch people have fun on the beach or join in.3. Fantastic food! We went there twice.4. Really friendly staff.Cons.1. Parking can be a bit iffy (we got lucky) but be prepared to walk a good 100m to the parking lot.2. It is a little pricey. I'm comparing it to London, but the food there is fresh.OverallWe went there twice and would definitely go again.
