Great setting- right as the name suggests- on the beach. A very good selection of menu items including various vegan and vegetarian options. Drinks and food both got made and delivered to us in very good time, by excellent, friendly wait staff who were more than happy to give us menu recommendations and do their best to answer our questions about the surrounding area.Bathroom facilities was one large unisex, accessible toilet which was nice and clean.Overall, loved the restaurant and the location, would happily go back again.

Haven't been in for ages but went for a birthday meal. As with all the Sam's places, great food, friendly nice and knowledgeable staff. Obviously great location with great views. Book ahead to ensure you get a table as it's very popular...with good reason;)

In the area and decided to take our group of visitors here. Not far away from the Eden Project and Fowey. The food here is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Close to the beach and great for a nice walk afterwards.

Nice pizza place, you can watch the sunset from the beach if it's not raining outside.... it's usually mega crowded, so booking is recommended. I went on a rainy day, so just walking in was fine.The pizza was OK, not the best I had, but the settings of the place is special so meda up for the rest.Their seafood menu seemed more appealing, so next time I go, I'll have that instead!

Absolutely perfect seafood meal with the most beautiful seaview for my birthday 🌊🦀🐟🐚🐟Would highly recommend this place... amazing customer service, our Waitress Sam's Wife (lovely Carribbean lady) was so lovely with us and the kiddies ....they were all so polite and friendly, there was a little bit of a wait but we were informed about this beforehand, the children all had fun on the beach so they were quite happy to wait and we had a drink whilst we waited...the food was divine...hubby and kids enjoyed a stone baked pizza 🍕 I had the seafood linguine 😋 hubby and kiddies has a little try of my mussels and all loved them as did I! The portion was very generous and every mouthful was delicious....🙌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I took my wife here today for a special treat. The first time we've been here for ages, nice to see that the place hasn't changed too much! Still a warm friendly atmosphere and fantastic food.We both had the surf and turf, cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks I've ever had!Nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff who remained polite and friendly.Well worth a visit by locals and holiday makers alike. In a nutshell, Great food, great service, great views! 👍

We had an impromptu trip to Sam's and it was brilliant! Fast service, friendly staff and delicious food! Only negative was a couple of our party wanted simple fish and chips. We enjoyed various culinary dishes and lots of clean plates. Gorgeous view. Would return and recommend.

We were a big group the staff that served us were kind and friendly. Food was delicious. Place is in a amazing location. You get the opportunity to eat good fresh seafood and observe beautiful sunset drink a cold beer. Sam's is a converted from lifeboat house interesting history which is explained on the walls. Staff also have some stories too. Good atmosphere well come again. Staff were really understanding with kids made to feel welcome. Good portions delicious...good selection of beers and wine. Great place for a group to meet or a couple.

Fantastic food, great service, highly recommend for anyone who loves seafood! If you don't there's always great pizza (my husband loves his!)

We stumbled across this place having never heard of it before. During Covid19, most places were fully booked or closed or the massive crowds were a put off.Pros;1. It is literally located on the beach, if you are dining outdoors, prepare to be standing on the sand.2. Great views. Watch people have fun on the beach or join in.3. Fantastic food! We went there twice.4. Really friendly staff.Cons.1. Parking can be a bit iffy (we got lucky) but be prepared to walk a good 100m to the parking lot.2. It is a little pricey. I'm comparing it to London, but the food there is fresh.OverallWe went there twice and would definitely go again.
