Sea Kitchen Looe in Cornwall

Had lunch there today to celebrate mine & my other half’s birthday & it was fantastic. The service was top class & the food was equally good. Having a meal with the view of the sea is something you can’t beat & being just 20mins walk away we’ll definitely be back. Would highly recommend this restaurant to spend your lunchtime/evening at.Took my in laws there last night (mum in law was in a wheelchair) & one word sums it up - SUPERB.Went there last night to celebrate being a year in Looe & the evening was fantastic, we were made to feel special . The service was impeccable & the meal (salmon for my beloved & sea bass for me) was stunning. Definitely worth going too.

We're lucky to catch this restaurant the last day it was open before shutting for a month. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable and the food was stunning, if they had been open longer during our stay we definitely would have gone back

Amazing food, tentative staff that were very nice friendly and helpfully. They understood thier menu and very professional. An amazing place to finish our holiday.

Really friendly atmosphere and the food is exceptional. Freshly prepared local produce which is beautifully cooked and extremely flavoursome. We were only here for four days and it coincided with Sea Kitchen being closed for two days otherwise we would have been back for another meal. The owner and staff are very welcoming and enthusiastic and deserve all the success which their hard-work should bring. If you are in Looe go and try it.

Delicious fresh food. Reasonably priced. Very attentive service. I had baked crab to start followed by the turbot and was not disappointed! A delight from start to finish 😋

A small menu of fish caught today prepared to an exquisite standard. My monkfish Thai green curry was fabulous.

Lunch here was delicious. Friendly and attentive staff and great food! Even the 6 yr old tucked into moulesfrite.... Happy days!

I think it is dangerous.Parasites in fish, it seems that it is opisthorchiasis.I changed my review after the second visit to this restaurant.On my first visit, I really enjoyed the food, I love fish and seafood. In my second visit II saw fish parasite in my food. The waiter told me that it was not dangerous and suggested replacing my dish with something else.What do you think is dangerous? And is the pleasure of this food worth the risk that is possible for your health?Why do such situations arise?From lack of cleanliness and attention to cooking? From a poor quality fish supplier?Well, if you are still interested in the premises of this restaurant, then this is a fish restaurant with 9 tables inside and 7 tables outside, on the seashore. The entire front of the restaurant overlooks the sea, as well as the trash can in the parking lot in front of the restaurant.The interior is simple.Cleanliness is not at the highest level, the windows are not washed, the summer terrace is not neat and tidy, the furniture is dirty, there are a lot of gulls ...Opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday, a bar from 5 pm, a kitchen from 6 pm until what time this restaurant is open only to God and Chef. On Saturday, the table is better to book.All of the above is just my subjective opinion.Я думаю что это опастно.Паразиты в рыбе, кажется что это описторхоз.Я изменила мой отзыв после второго посещения этотого ресторана.В первое мое посещение мне очень понравилась еда, я люблю рыбу и морепродукты. В свое второе посещение яувидела в своей еде рыбного паразита. Официант сказал мне что это не опастно и предложил заменить мое блюдо на другое.А как Вы думаете, это опастно? И стоит ли удовольствие от этой еды того риска который возможен для Вашего здоровья?Почему возникают такие ситуации?От недостатка чистоты и внимательности к приготовлению еды? От некачественного поставщика рыбы?Ну если Вас все еще интересует помещение этотого ресторана, то это рыбный ресторан на 9 столов внутри и 7 столов на улице, на берегу моря. Вся передняя часть ресторана с видом на море, а так же на мусорный бак на парковке перед рестораном.Интерьер простой.Чистота не на высшем уровне, окна не вымыты, летняя площадка не ухоженна, мебель грязная, много чаек ...Время работы со среды по субботу, бар с 5 часов вечера, кухня с 6 часов вечера до какого времени работает этот ресторан известно только Богу и Шефу. В субботу стол лучше забронировать.Все вышеизложенное являеться только моим субъективным мнением.

A friendly bright and welcoming restaurant. The staff were attentive and obviously work well together as a team.We tried the fish soup and deep fried butterfly prawns to start, with Sea Bass as the main, with lemon posset and local strawberries and ice cream to finish. Washed down with a very nice Pinot Grigio.The food was exceptional with superb flavours and really highlights the difference between locally sourced ingredients and those bought from a supermarket.Not at all over priced, you get the quality you pay for, and we would thoroughly recommend to visitors and locals alike.
