Shanghai Lounge in Cornwall

Made an order for a Chicken Curry and Sweet n sour Chicken. Paid over £20. Might as well have poured it down the drain. Curry was tasteless, very weak in flavour. Sweet n sour chicken balls were not cooked. Management were not interested, didn't even apologise. I'd feel very guilty if I had to recommend this restaurant to anybody. I am totally dissatisfied.

Disgusting customer service. Accepted my order, took payment including £4.00 delivery fee. Then text to say I was too far away! 2.5 miles!! Hav3Have to wait

For the good points delivery spot on fried rice hot curry sauce best I've had in a long while prawn toast tasty now for the bad points I had chicken balls big pieces of chicken batter thick and claggy and so was the same with the pineapple fritters also tinned pineapple yuk such a shame a couple of things you could make much better thin batter so it's crispy and fresh pineapple

On Saturday 19/06/20 paid £16.10 for salt and pepper king prawns, salt and pepper chips and tai green curry. This is the first and hopefully the last time I write a review but this just was a huge disappointment. the salt and pepper chips were just normal chips that had been put in a bag then covered with salt and pepper, so you can only imagine the heavy mouthful of salt from the first chip was awful. The salt and pepper king prawns were just covered in salt to the point were it was difficult to even taste prawn and finished the mouthful. The prawn crackers just tasted of grease, the tai green curry was okay but it had a strange after taste that wasn’t pleasant. Genuinely really upset when I got home after a long day I had to bin £16.10 worth of food.

Nothing to write home about. Chinese food can tend to be bland with not much definition of flavour and this was demonstrated here.

Literally our worst dining experience in many many years, as someone who works in the trade we had to complain, so for atmosphere they had no music and no lights just staff talking, table stuck to our phones arms and menu, we asked for coke with ice the girl came with coke with no ice and said you don't need ice because it's cold from the fridge, all good items was tasteless salt and pepper ribs litralt tasted like bbq meat. By the time we got to our main we complained, oddly the lady said that they never got complaints. There was alot more things we notice but not gonna list them all but . Crackers no sauce, peaking duck no spoon for sauce so we ending up pouring and dipping, broken chairs, when we complained she did say sorry and take 6 pounds off our 46 pounds bills, this seem to add insult to injury as this didint even cover a dish we left shortly. Surprised to see they was busy with take away orders and some good reviews on google, anyways we dine out alot and this was by far the worst in most aspect including high price for pour quality food and service. Never go here

Poor standard food. Battered chicken to cover up how cheap the meat is on dishes that should not have fried chicken. Extremely salty with no contrasting tastes on a sweet and sour dish. Very disappointing.

Ordered from here twice before and quite nice..ordered last night and awful. Piece of paper in the chicken balls, chicken tasted awful, rice dry, beef was OK but sauce split and all just tasted awful. Will not be going back. Such a shame.

Booked a table for two Chinese New year weekend. We arrived 5 mins early and 6 people squeezed into my booked table. They denied my booking even though the book showed my booking crossed out. Liar's plenty of better chinChi in Truro

Good food. Excellent portion sizes for the money. Delivery took a little while, but was all piping hot which makes a nice change!
