Warm friendly welcome. Lots of choice in the drinks department. Didn't book but should have. You can eat in the restaurant (would advise booking) or there are another two bar rooms where you can eat. When we couldn't get a table for 4 in the restaurant the lady of the house made sure we could all sit together in one of the other rooms. It was great to be treated as customer comes first attitude, full mark, we did. Will definitely be returning.

We absolutely loved this place. Heart and soul of Mousehole, very friendly staff, drinks were served with a smile and warmest of greetings. The food was 1st class!! Especially the fish and chips. Can't wait to return!!! Thanks Guys for making our New Year!! We all really appreciated your good service and excellent food. Top pub x

The location of the Ship couldn't be better! Lovely interior, comfortable rooms, and a warm welcome for us and our dog. The breakfasts were good (a sauage for the dog) and the lunch/supper menu interesting and well cooked. Top marks.

Really good meal. Good choice. Fish and chips were so fresh and light. Yummy Staff were excellent. Group of people in bar jamming playing popular folk tunes. Fantastic atmosphere. Great selection of beer and ales. Right on the harbour and a traditional Inn. Very easy to recommend

Welcoming . warm friendly staff True Cornish pub selling local real ale and gins. Honestly the best place to be on a wet afternoon in December

Beautiful quaint old pub beautiful old pictures and some artist paintings hanging on the walls depicting the fishermen of past and present. Had a lovely Cornish pint with my husband whilst resting our feet.

Thanks, we had a lovely meal here, really enjoyed the mussels. Also enjoyed a few drinks a couple of times at the Ship Inn, during our stay in Mousehole. Great little place to sit and watch the world go by right next to the harbour. Definitely recommend to everyone. Not quite back to normal when we visited due to staff shortages etc but we had a great time here and didn't affect our enjoyment. It does get busy so book meals well in advance.

We stayed here for a couple of days and had a great time. The only downside is parking - there are two small car parks nearby but these fill up quickly so it's a case of go out for a day trip and get back after 6 or just walk as getting back in the afternoon means a struggle to park. Everything else about our stay was positive - the staff were fabulous, good wifi, and a good location right next to the harbour. The room was quiet and the pub dealt with covid requirements in a safe but unobtrusive way. Food in the evenings was very good - well presented, good portion sizes and good value. Breakfast was also excellent with very efficient and lovely staff.

We had a lovely night here and had a great meal and breakfast in the restaurant. The staff was very warm and welcoming on our arrival and allocated our room quickly, especially considering we booked last minute! The hotel and rooms are well kept, clean and fresh. Nice showers, and great heating in our room. The hotel is right on the water so location is perfect to explore this pretty village. In the restaurant we had Mussels, which was of course fresh and tender. Also had the brisket which had great flavours. It was a too lean for my preference. I’m not sure if it was due to the cut of beef, or it being cut in slices and not chunks, which can dry it out. Or cut in wrong direction. Never the less, it’s worth having. In the morning we had the full English Breakfast, which was a decent size and was of the higher quality of ingredients. All COVID rules are followed also.
